Netravathi peak Full details :
Trekking to Netravati is little easier compared to it's cousin Kudremukh. It's about 12 km up and down when compared to Kudremukh which is 20+ km. The initial part of the Netravati trek passes through dense forest interspersed with flowing streams of crystal clear water.
Forest Entry Fee 500rs. Local guide charges. 2 breakfast, 1 packed lunch and 1 dinner (Malnad style cuisine).
Monsoon - June to August : The best time to visit Netravati or any other peaks in the Western Ghats is during the monsoon season. ...
Post Monsoon - September to January: The skies can be covered with mist with play of passing clouds and can be clear with bright sunlight.
Day 1 - Saturday
Freshen up and finish breakfast by 6:45 AM (approx)
Take a jeep ride to the trek base from homestay (30-40 minutes)
Start the trek by around 7:30 AM (approx)
Lunch at the peak.
Descend and reach back to the base by 5:30 PM (tentative)
Dinner and retire for the night.
