- Use up your scraps by turning trash scrap wood into treasure with these beautiful scrap barn wood and epoxy side tables with welded steel bases. I used my x carve pro to cut 15 degree wedges to form a segmented ring comprised of pieces of scrap barn wood and other odds and ends I’ve had laying around the shop for years. I welded the bases from scrap steel as well, and this project required no new material purchases! Thanks for checking out these trash wood to treasure scrap wood and epoxy side tables.

the author does like to from scratch, shaping and trimming wood from large blocks into fine finished products. czcams.com/users/postUgkxD-QRFQz730FJEh4f9BYSf-nkIMIC9hL_ as another reviewer mentioned, most projects require a lot of high-dollar equipment that most of us dont have the room or budget for. But, knowing how to do these things, even if we wont be able to practice the full stack project, is still great.
As a quilter, I knew right from the outset you had enough wood. Same principle with quilt tops. Many pieces from little pieces of fabric yield larger results. Nice job on the tables.
Great job on the end tables. You could have gone with many different colors of epoxy, but the white is great and they are for your own use, so pick for yourself!
No regrets. I love using scraps, and even use wood chips and sawdust add mulch in my yard.
Really neat. I didn’t think I’d like the white but it is gorgeous
Wow!! Amazing!! It’s so beautiful!! Def my type of furniture
Nice look and a great use of old scraps
Your ability to design is unlike anything else I've seen. I'm inspired every time I watch you in action. Thanks for putting your content out there. Also, biggest. hose clamp. ever.
Beautiful, clear epoxy with a raw wood Base is a good next project
Try using silver foil ventilation ducting tape. Its a bit fiddly to peel off the wood but doesnt usually leak.
As a backup for very small epoxy pours try resting some small timber battens at the edges of your bench and lay a plastic sheet over it to form a simple plastic tray. Then sit your work pieces inside. If your pour leaks the plastic sheet will catch it.
No Regrets"... Love the tables and its such a great way to use up the spare pieces of lumber. Beautifully done!
This was a cool way to use scraps! When you have enough scrap again in the future you could make some really cool statement clocks using one less ‘4’ piece and spacing them to make the 12-3-6-9 etc. could be a very simple design with just the wood and the clock hands in the middle. Overall really enjoyed this build!
This video reminds me of a slogan my grandparents and parents used to say: "Use it up, wear it out, make do...or do without." This is an excellent example of the creative use of scrap wood. "No Regrets'
When I saw the opening shots I thought for sure you were building a wall clock. I like to guess. Table tops are great too. 👍🏻🇺🇲
Would never have said flat white for the middle color. But it turned out beautiful. I guess that’s why you’re the professional. :)
Damn; that was brilliant. Thank you.
Man watching these beautiful pieces being built is awesome. I don’t have the space nor the money for a CNC machine. Guess I’ll have to do this the old fashion way
no regrets, what did people do before Epoxy, excellent as always :)
Great job with the scrap pieces of wood.
Gossip is more than your industry
No regrets at all about watching this video. Informative, Innovative and Inspiring. Keep up the great work!
Very well made, beautiful.
My favorite project so far. Balanced top and bottom, great design. And you used material that might otherwise have gone to waste. Kudos!
Really liket the tables, thought the white apoxy was plan but wow! really enjoyed the build.
Watched again wow stunning
They are beautiful
I dig the dedication and learning curves you do in your creations ... in short, BRAVO-!

"no regrets" ! I like it so much ! You are very inventive, a great artist ! Thanks for sharing !
Big fan of the little wooden feet on the tables
Turned out great
Super baby Jonny! 😂 Holy crap you're a whole different person 😂
No regret. I absolutely love these tables.
Wow… they look great. Nice job 🙃
Very beautiful.
with the white expoxy you could add some LEDs underneath and have a cool lighting effect!!!
Beautiful
You have a great eye for design.
Considering all the work, would you believe I found the best part the finishing details... especially the leg mounts. A very nice project, sir.
Very beautiful
I liked the fact that you didn't use black tint in the epoxy. It's getting to be the only tint used.
Thanks for the great idea. I (like most) have plenty of scrap laying around that's to good to be firewood. I made a coat/hat rack out of scrap cedar (1/4" strips) and about a gallon of glue and it came out nice enough for my wife to put it in the utility room! I need something table like for the back deck and I think I just got the idea for a new project!
No regrets. And thanks for sharing 🌞
Great solution man. 👍🤘👍
Johnny, the tables are outstanding! Great work.
no regrets. pretty sure that if I were making it, I would have intentionally stopped the long pieces from meeting in the middle so I didn't have any concerns about whether they lined up exactly or not, but you nailed it. I was impressed at how little flow there was from one section into the next when you were pouring the epoxy. maybe I should have a little more faith in myself.
Beautiful use for refuse!
Fantastic result! Such a cool project. Love the mix of those different wood species and that industrial base you built! Always so inspiring! Thanks for that video! *No Regrets*
Thank you! Cheers!
No regrets! Those are beautiful! Thanks for sharing.
Beautiful job Jonny, I wasn't sure about the white epoxy but it turned out amazing. Hell of a good job sir. 2021 is starting out right, can't wait to see what's coming up.
I think the white detracts from the beauty of the wood. There's a reason black epoxy is used so often and ..... that's the reason! Lol. It forces the eye to only see the wood. The white looks like nougat 😊. I actively dislike the white. Yet I simultaneously respect the bold choice. From hey general craftsmanship standpoint, this is a bit beyond my skill level and I am not yet much of a welder. So I'm very impressed with everything else but, the bar is low given my relative modest skill set. Still, I watched it from start to finish and was totally engrossed.. very impressive :-)
the wood colors are really great. not sur I would have gone with the white pigment but still the final result is really nice. well done
Nice video! Have a good day!
Great Job
It’s just incredible how talented and creative you are bro. This is great stuff!
I really like the tables. They are unique and one of a kind. Fabulous job!!!
I really like them👍
The tables are gorgeous!!!
Beautiful! Really Beautiful! Also, thank you for publishing your mistakes. So encouraging to know that the pros make stupid mistakes too, and how to fix them. I really appreciate that!
That came out so great.... No Regrets
Oh and definitely no regrets watching this amazing video. The Tim you must take to setup the camera then make the item is so worth it. Boomshakalaka! From South Africa 🇿🇦
❤ love it 😍 no regrets
I Love your Work you are so talented ❤️❤️❤️🇨🇦
I find I end up spending more time, when I try to save time. Shortcutting known and effective techniques just out of laziness or by trying to save time, only leads to more cost in the long run. Work smarter, not harder.
But your mistakes are our classroom. So thank you for just being you. We value your show.
beautiful
Absolutely beautiful!
Nice job!
Great build & vid. I was surprised how good the white epoxy turned out. Certainly shows up how good the wood was. Thks

Beautiful tables. This video is very inspiring. Thanks for sharing.
Just recently found your channel I am enjoying the older videos. I could see you running some LEDs under them for a soft light or night light. Great job
No regrets. Enjoyed watching them come together.
Lovely tables. Thank you for sharing.
This just came up in my recommends and as someone with tubfuls of scraps, I couldn't click fast enough.
They are lovely! 🤩
I _personally_ would've gone with a deep garnet red, or perhaps a rich amber, but the white really does show off the wood in a spectacular way.
Subbed!
No Regrets
Awesome work Jonny👍
