- Guided breathing workout - 4 rounds:
[00:00] round 1) 40 breaths + holding your breath for 2 minutes
[04:36] round 2) 40 breaths + holding your breath for 2 minutes
[09:06] round 3) 40 breaths + holding your breath for 2 min 30s
[14:05] round 4) 40 breaths + holding your breath for 3 minutes

INSTRUCTIONS:
1) Inhale through the nose or mouth and exhale through the mouth letting the air out. Keep a steady pace and use your midriff fully. Repeat this for 40 times.
2) Then let the air out and hold for as long as you can without force. Hold the breath until you experience the gasp reflex.
3) Inhale to full capacity. Feel your chest expanding. When you are at full capacity, hold the breath for around 10 ~ 15 seconds.
Repeat this process for 4 times!

Do not do this practice before or during diving, driving, swimming, taking a bath or any other environment/place where it might be dangerous to faint! You may feel tingling in the hands, feet, or face. If the sensation of light-headedness gets too intense, just pause until you feel settled and then continue.

Hi I was just wondering if I could get guidance with this advance one, when he says press your belly, neck and then the head, i get the to point where it’s like I’m nearly losing consciousness for a few seconds, obviously with all the oxygen going to the head I guess I’m not sure, I just want to know if it correct as I heard this can happen and that’s why to do it in a safe environment, but also is that healthy? Thanks for any help.

Hello everyone. I would like to ask a clarification, hope someone could help. I've started practicing this method since one month more or less, and I've noticed since the very first time that after 3 o 4 rounds my body is freezing and shivering without control. Actually after the second round of breathing I start feeling my hands and feet getting colder and colder and after the 3ed or 4th round I'm completely freezing. So I could not understand if this is ok or not. I've watched several videos about the method but I couldn't find anywhere information about body temperature dropping. Since Wim is talking about cold exposure etc etc, I thought that through the method I could get more heat in my body in order to be more comfortable with the cold, but apparently I feel the opposite, so I don't understand if I'm doing something wrong, or there's something wrong with my body.

Wim Hof says in one of his videos explaining his breathing method, “if you feel your body temperature going down, that’s ok”. However he didn’t talk about freezing cold. I also heard to cover the body to keep it warm during the exercise.
The shivering isn’t good, I think you should slow down .
Thanks Luc. Actually after a lot of experimentation I've found out that throughout this breathing technique the emotions stuck in our blood flow system are coming out.
So the extra cold and freezing effect was the effect of fear emotion, that was predominant among all the other. When I realized that , and worked upon it everything just changed, i can't explain it by words, but it's crazy and working amazingly. I keep experimenting, throughout limits and feelings and everything is getting more insightful and interesting

this is a very misleading ad, you take the quiz, ok ... then you are lead to a video that you have no control over, and it is all about the accomplishments of "Dr. Gundry MD" it takes too long to present the protein information, bad advertising
The rest are copycats which may be good but I don't agree with them using WIM HOF's name as if it's his voice and its not. I won't practice this woderful breathing technique with no other voices. They just don't have the magic.
