Always disliked and chose not to understand this part of the game. It adds to much luck to it when skilled and/or knowledgeable players go at it. To often the board gets cleaned by who breaks.
@georgevause8641 That is why pool matches often have multiple frames, for example playing first to 9 frames. There will be the occasional break and clearance but the majority of frames are played by both players. It takes a lot of skill to clear the table so if they are able to do it off the break then they deserve the point. I don't know why it is difficult to understand.
@@attacking8ball So that's around 3-4 hours a day. Mother of mercy, no wonder you get those clearances. I wish I had that kind of time. Keep up the good work. Hopefully our paths will cross at some point, I'd love to play you in a race.
I'm relatively new to pool, I am just curious, because I see people at the bar and such that are pretty consistent at cleaning the table, so what is the separating factor between a professional who presumably can clear pretty well vs just a guy at the bar that also seems to be able to clear pretty well?
All comes down to consistency. Pro players are a lot more consistent with their positional play and overall cue ball control whereas the majority of decent pub level players are able to do it occasionally but not all of the time 👍
Pros can also do it under pressure, with audience, in pool tables with very tight pockets, and in games where they are allowed only 30 sec for each shot.
@attacking8ball Okay, it's a bit confusing because in the US, red and yellow balls are almost never used since they are smaller than standard 8ball balls from Aramith right? I'm sorry, I'm American. Lol
Sorry for the late reply. Yep, this is English Pool, which is the most commonly played cue sport in the UK. It’s a variation of American pool but all of the equipment specs are different and it’s red and yellows instead of solids and stripes 👍
@@attacking8ball Think he's getting confused and assuming one of the balls touched your cue during the break? Perhaps the POV makes it look like a red or yellow touched the cue (which it didn't), or perhaps he assumes the white touched the cue because it stops abruptly (due to you striking low on the white). Either way there was no double touch. Nice clearance btw.
u just played alone 😂😂 Very nice
Only way to beat a pro😂
@@joulupukki1607 haha well played 👍👍👍
😊
Really nice shot to get down to the red on the rail wasn’t easy, good clearance overall 👍
Thanks mate!

the best way to not win is if your opponent runs the table; you had no part in your loss.
If you clear the table, you only beat the table...
Not really 😂

@@attacking8ballhe’s got a point tbh if your opponent was the other side of the world you’d of still won so was he actually ‘playing’
@@attacking8ballyes really. You played nobody.

The best game is when they dont get to play 😂😂😂
It doesn't matter if your opponent was professional or amateur
woo hoo! well done🎉
Thank you! 😃
Liked the video that much I tried to like it twice lol nice shots
Haha, thanks! Glad you liked it!
Well that wouldn’t make any sense coz then you would be un liking it 🤣
Some damn nice shots!
That place is seriously missing music
Tbh if it did I wouldn’t be posting this on CZcams so ideal really 🤷🏻♂️😂
I think it's kinda nice
I've played in that venue before, it's actually really nice without music. Especially when it's lively
No sweeter music than the sound of the middle of the pocket
Nah. Music can be distracting sometimes
Nice clearance
Thanks mate!
As soon as i saw the split i was thinking you should be getting these, good work 👌
Thanks! 👍
As well as he played, it'd be tough for efren reyes himself to beat him
Love the POV best view for pool 👍👍
Thanks! Glad you like it!
So basically who ever wins the break wins the frame
Very good sport🎱
Can I ask what kind of cue you have, I love the design of it SO MUCH.
It’s a cue craft phoenix and I’ve had it for the past 20 years👍
You can beat anyone if you clear up 😊
Nice dish
Thanks!
Very nice
With those plus size pockets you always have a chance
It’s that connar mcgeegor?
If you get a good break you are in with a chance.
That was awesome
Glad you liked it! 😊
LOVE POOL
He's just been 7 balled
Question for you: how often do you practice to be able to pull out a clearance like that regularly?
Around 15-20 hours a week 👍

What is the rule for the starter deciding game ?
Whoever gets closest to the cushion breaks 👍

@attacking8ball I appreciate the explanation. That's kinda what I figured, just wasn't sure if that was just my untrained eye missing something.

That was a dry break 😂 who you kidding
Not sure what you mean?
And you grannied him too that’s flex points
😂
Why does the shaft seem SO THICK??? Id use this strictly for breaking if for anything at all
It’s probably the camera making it look that way. It’s closer to a snooker cue in terms of diameter and I play with a 9mm tip 👍
I moss pool shame about all the pubs shutting down

Cheers bro 1 all.
Just get drunk. lol
What is it called at the start when they pick who goes first??
It’s called the lag 👍
play on 9 foot table brothaa eeeeeehhhwww
Play on a 12 foot snooker table brothaaa 😂
Why do they play with red and yellow and one stripped ball?
It’s English Pool. Completely different game to American Pool 👍
😂😂🎉
So, why are all of the balls looking like snooker balls?
Snooker balls are red and then 6 different colours…..

Why is the 8 ball a striped ball is that a British thing?
Yep, in English pool the new Aramith sets have striped 8 balls 👍
