Meet Your Producer Jacktone Alufwani.

Jacktone Alufwani is a multi-talented award winning filmmaker based in Kenya, recently completed film making at New York film Academy, after graduating in film making at Filamu Juani Academy in 2019. He is the founder of Jade Pictures established in 2019 and the CEO of Kikao Kikuu Films established late 2020. In 2021 his film Blanda was nominated in Kenya’s most prestigious awards - Kalasha Film and TV Awards. In 2022 he emerged the winner of the first ever Africa Magic Viewers’ Choice Awards (AMVCA) digital creator competition in Africa hosted May 11, 2022 at The Wheatbaker Hotel in Lagos, Nigeria. In March 22, 2023 he was shortlisted among the 11 contestants in Africa as emerging film makers by NATIV.
He uses films as a tool of social advocacy to realize his vision. He enjoys telling stories that examine human behavior. He is set to release BLANDA 3 this December 2023.
His love and passion for film goes beyond what he can explain. He has loved film ever since. It’s the only way he gets to amplify his voice and express himself without limits. He loves story telling, to see the ideas in his head transform into something that people can see, feel, and relate too. A great story is very powerful; it can affect people’s lives, their emotion and even inspire them. He loves the process of film making, all of it from crafting the story, to post production editing, he loves every step it offers and the joy it offers to see it finally done and people can see, appreciate, even get inspired by it.
Film making is the most amazing feeling in the world.
