ABOUT DIRECTOR JACKTONE ALUFWANI AKA JADE

Jacktone Alufwani is a multi-talented award-winning writer based in Kenya, recently completed film making at New York film Academy, after graduating in film making at Filamujuani Academy in 2019. He is the founder of Jade Pictures established in 2019 and the CEO of Kikao Kikuu Films established late 2020. In 2021 he wrote the film Blanda was nominated for Kenya’s most prestigious awards - Kalasha International Film and TV Awards. In 2022 he emerged the best writer of the first ever Africa Magic Viewers’ Choice Awards (AMVCA) digital creator competition in Africa hosted May 11, 2022 at The Wheatbaker Hotel in Lagos, Nigeria. In March 2024, his film Bazenga got 3 nominations at the Kalasha International Film and TV Awards. He enjoys telling stories that examine human behavior.
