Thank you for putting this out. First time in New England for school and I’ve been thinking about these parkas. The wind chills here are no joke.

Welcome to New England! And of course as I released this video today it was 25 degrees outside and frost on my car, this jacket is perfect for that weather

@@FitManStyle I leave my scrapers in the car year round and never put away my cardigans or fleece jackets sometimes even on summer evenings they are needed 🤫🤫🤫.

I ended up going with the Triple F.A.T. Goose Chenega II Parka jacket after they sent me one to review. I absolutely love it!

In response to your query, I have purchased a triple F.A.T coat for the first time back in ‘87 . It. Was a taupe colored leather down 3/4 length. I truly believe that I’d still have it today if it wasn’t stolen. Recently I purchased the Aisen Stratus Waterproof . Personally I have an issue with the zipper . It’s challenging to make the initial zip connection in order to zip up the coat in the front. Perhaps this issue is only with the water proof or resistant parkas. Hopefully the fabric won’t get intertwined with continued use. Aside from that, I think it’s a great product. I wore it outside once so far. I layered with an undershirt, a UA long T, a long shirt sleeve shirt and an overshirt with 60/40 cotton /polyester lining in about 34° weather. It was comfortable and also flexible for layering . I took a chance although I read about the complaints regarding the zipper connection mechanism.

Triple F.A.T. Goose sent me the Chenega II $700 Parka after reaching out to me. It's also 700 fill power. I was gonna get this instead and just ran into your video and was curious on this one. Solid review man I like how you showed the difference in fill power. You can also remove the coyote fur as well btw. Not just the entire hood but I'm sure you've figured that out. I'm super happy with the quality on these. Best jackets I've ever owned!

@@FitManStyle I'm in Colorado so it gets pretty cold man! I love the feature to remove the hood and store it In a cool place with the bag as fur needs to breath...

I have this and the Chenega and prefer the Colburn because it is noticeably longer and a bit lighter yet just as warm as the Chenega. The extra coverage on my thighs makes a huge difference to me. The best thing about the triple FAT coats is how butter soft, smooth and comfortable it feels. It just slides on and off so smoothly because of the inner lining material and cuff material they use. On top of that, the down is so soft and puffy. I could literally sleep in one of these. Much better comfort than the Canada Goose coats in my opinion. I would never wear a played out Canada Goose coat anyway though.

@@kayflip2233 I didnt know it is longer on the thighs? But I agree super high quality and love the jacket so far

@@stylewithaltitude Yeah the Colburn is probably an inch or so longer than the Chenega. Also you can really feel the length difference because the Colburn has down all the way at the very bottom of the coat. whereas the Chenega doesn't have down at the bottom of the coat. So the length feels even more pronounced on the Colburn. I have both coats in XL. The Chenega is puffier and slightly heavier but I prefer the Colburn because it's a bit baggier, longer, lighter yet still just as warm. I live in NYC and it rarely goes below 32 here so it's perfect for winter here.

Thanks for the review. I have one in my cart and couldn't tell whether to purchase this one or The Chenega II. However; it's butt-cold here in Michigan and I live near Lake Michigan. I don't believe I'll be doing any real walking around in the snow and cold - but if I do: I want to be warm. Pulling the trigger on this jacket. Any chance they gave you a code?

Hey Mack, unfortunately no code, I know the price is up there. I’ve wore them a lot here in Massachusetts since it’s starting to drop in the low 20s here. Well worth it
