- I got a late start, but still decided to drive an hour and twenty minutes to Goodwill. I figured the shelves would have been picked over, but I lucked out.

Picking up dish with doe and buck......”I can put in booth and make a few BUCKS on it”. I think you missed your own pun......LOL....
😅😅 I didn’t even intend the pun! I’m just that witty-even when I’m not trying. 😂
You once thrifted a large handbag with various pockets, and stashed your thrifted breakables in it, Ever since, Ive been taking a large unused quilted Vera B bag with me to use as a shopping tote. I fill it with a handful of bubble mailers to use for glass and pottery items. Thanks for the tip of using a padded handbag, You should keep doing it. Makes a big difference.
What an excellent idea!! I have a travel bag with little "holders" for bottles/tubes-perfect! Thanks for sharing that!!!😊
Brody is a glass company out of Cleveland. 💜 Great trip, Jocelyn. Thank you.
Love that idea!!
I use a couple of large canvas bags and thrifted receiving blankets. I use the blankets to keep the glassware from rattling and rubbing against each other in the cart and then I can use them to wrap the item to put in the canvas bags at checkout. It all fits in one bag and my thrift store appreciates it that they dont have to wrap it all in paper.
I really like the fact that you mix it up with Goodwills and antique shops. I'm really learning to enjoy your antique shopping nowadays; realizing how creative and artistic people are back in the early 1800s and 1900s. Some of the glass art dishes, pottery, vases and so on are so amazing!!!
Jocelyn, I so appreciate the STYLE and the PACE of your videos! They just move right along! If I want, I can pause or go back, but I don't lose patience or interest. I don't mind a lengthy video, if it moves along nicely as yours do . :)
I try not to drag them out. I appreciate the feedback.
I think the editing is extra snappy today!
I’m pretty sure that seeing a cracked pot & thinking the crack will make a good drainage hole is definitely being positive! We love you CrazyLampLady!!
Hi Jocelyn, That cookie cutter set is indeed vintage. I made those 12 days of Christmas cookies with that same set in 1979. They came out great. I think your family will love them!
We had the same set when I was a child in the 80s!
Your looking wonderful Jocelyn. Hope your feeling good, too. Loved that bagel plate. What a cool find.
The fact that the silhouette pictures had no zip code on the company address means it was before 1964 when zip codes were used. That's at least 60 years old, on film they were well matted, and looked good.
As a bookseller for many years, I have a lot of stories about the ones that got away. Lots of regrets for things that I passed on that turned out to be gems. I'd like to see you do a whole episode about the ones that got away and that just make you sting with regret for not taking a risk. I think it would be an inciteful video. Love the Goodwill hunts more than the antique mall scouts...I like it when a treasure pops out at you for pennies.
I agree with goodwill hunts being better than the antique mall.
I can’t see myself paying the prices at the antique mall. If I cannot make 300% markup on an item I’m not buying it. Even when you make double EBay fees kick in. Not worth it for me.
Ooooh, great idea!!
Your attitude is everything! Always a joy to watch one of your videos!💞
😂 If only you knew how disappointed I was in myself for getting there so late in the day.
Karma plays a big part. You give so so much to your followers. The world gives back in wonderful ways.
Jocelyn, when I go thrifting, I have a large hand towel I bought at a thrift store and I leave it in my car and when I get to the thrift store, I lay it down in the cart so my items don’t shift a lot when pushing the cart. Maybe you can borrow a towel or baby blanket from the thrift store and when you check out, tell them you decided you didn’t want the towel/blanket and they’ll take it back…😊 or purchase it to use whenever you go thrifting. I wrote my initials on the towel and wrote “thrifting towel” on it so they know it’s mine and not stolen…lol. I love the pitcher with the glasses and the bagel tray. Very nice 👍❤️
I have that cookie cutter set, and yes, they are vintage! My grandmother used them in the 60s and 70s to make Christmas ornaments out of salt dough. Good, fun find!
We did too!
Do people ever look at you funny, thinking you're talking to yourself? 🤣😊
Love the tradition with your sister! So sweet!
I loved the "But Mom claimed it." Go Jocelyn's mom!!!
Funny…I said it’s for bagels the same time you did….my husband always starts to wonder when I start talking to my iPad.
Don't worry about the time, it's three hours earlier here in California and you are actually early!!
Milk Glass is EO Brody-Cleveland
The crying mug in the intro was sold in CVS a few years back. (I recognize it.) 04:10 Lox and bagels platter. You have to live in a Jewish area to see a lot of them. They're for Sabbath breakfast when you're not allowed to cook. ( Back in the day I went to three Synagogue rummage sales every year, unless there were four.)
That’s so neat! I had never seen one before. When I was researching, I did find a few that actually had a dish titled lox.
At 4:29 it’s an Elan noodle bowl, the holes and notches are for resting your chopsticks. They can go for 15-30 bucks a piece
I saw that too !
I thrifted a yellow one.
Those cookie cutters are vintage. I'm 67 years old and have had mine for ever! I don't remember if i got them in the 70s or 80s. My grandchildren love them. I'll make them salt dough or cinnamon dough just so they can play with them.
That "funky" thing is an Udon or ramen bowl. The indents and holes are for resting your chopsticks in.
I was thinking the same thing.....
Nice!
Always a treat to thrift with you!
Our family has been gathering with friends and family a few weeks before Christmas for cookie parties since around 1970. It's the best time of year.
Great find on the cookie set.
🍪 🎄 🎅 🧑🎄 🤶
Congratulations to you and Andrew on the baby news hope your feeling ok 👼🏻♥️🇨🇦
Mushroom items will sell no matter what. Always grab mushroom stuff.
Right!
Loved the bagel tray. You look wonderful, pregnancy seems to agree with you. I really enjoy your videos.
Also, since all Loungefly bags are manmade materials, you can just wipe it off with a clorox wipe, (as opposed to the hassle /more time consuming care of treating leather products). You should try it next time!
I couldn’t help but hear your sister‘s voice asking if you were really going to bring used cookie cutters for cookie making. 😂 I remember you telling us a very long time ago that she wasn’t so much into thrift items.
Anything mushrooms or butterfly’s i loveeeeee
You left the blue mushroom pitcher... I'm crying. lol
Neat finds today. I caught that accidental clue/hint about your new house when you said it has 1920s fixtures. How intriguing! That has got to mean your new house is not a 1970s ranch style house. As if, right? 😀
Maybe an old Craftsman built in the 1920's. Can't wait to see it.
You did really well. I just watched the matching sold. The buck platter was an amazing sale. I love anything with deer or stags on it a lot like your birds. People who have a cabin or outdoors types love those things don't pass them bye. Thanks for the content
Lovely nails and we all noticed the beautiful ring there on your left hand??! Hmmmmmm….is there something your not telling us? 😶 I always enjoy your videos!! Blessings ✝️
I've seen Jocelyn wearing that ring before.
Spray those cookie cutters with Pam and the dough won’t stick when you cut them.
I love the cow creamer. They are usually black and white. Love the brown and white. I was so hoping you would pick that. 🥲
Look on ebay. I'm sure there are some for sale 😃
I have been collecting the black & white ones for years. The ones I have are many different figurines. I haven't found any for a few years. My area are hard to find any of them.
Those Sandy Russel prints would be so nice in a nursery!
I was thinking exactly the same!
They are designed for a nursery.
I always get inspired by your nails your tec is pretty good. I also noticed the ring on your hand . You can't keep things like from your people.
I've seen Jocelyn wearing that ring before.
I’d love that Mickey Mouse backpack purse. If it’s still there I would definitely buy it!
The Green teapot is World Market majolica pottery. I have the whole set with dragonflies, I bought from Horchows years ago. The dragonfly plates sell very well.
You need to keep that set of 3 pictures for your nursery and do it in pink and green...the wicker pieces are already pink! lol 😊
Pick up a mug... "Pfaltzgraff, of course it's Pfaltzgraff". Hahaha... I find myself often saying the very same thing ;P
Today was a diamond day!!!💗👍
Love the rabbit teapot!
Already has the drainage! 🤣🤣🤣
That deer platter was great!! Never saw that before!😍
Great day at the Goodwill! Love your nails too! Very spring looking
That’s a pretty ring you’re wearing on your left hand Jocelyn 🤩 is it a special one?
I kept trying to get a good look at the stones.
I was noticing that ring flashing also.
Looks like emeralds and yellow gold. Hmmm. I was wondering the same thing. Engagement? Wedding? We love you Jocelyn!
Now I’m thinking it’s a blue stone.
She has been wearing that ring before, so I think not.
Thought of you on Sunday, while visiting a local antique place. We found a bintage mushroom wall piece made of paper mache. Covered in smootits but cleaned up nice. Funky and fun!
I used your Cookie Cutter Set to make ornaments in 1976-7(?) using a salt dough. I still have some of the ornaments.
Again you have Great Goodwills there!
Love your finds today
The Stangle is the Tulips pattern, I'm from NJ.
Great finds today! Love the 3-d animal pictures; would they fit into your plan for the nursery? Such exciting times again for your family. Have a lovely evening!
The nursery was my first thought, but I think they’re too safari to fit in my aesthetic. I’m sure someone will love them for a nursery.
Good finds with Bordallo Pinheiro green bunny stuff. That all sells great. :)
Those little animal art pieces would be adorable in a nursery. Sandy Russel pieces.
OH Man! I would have loved to get those strawberry glasses you passed by as you went on into green section.
The K logo on the blue bowl is Edwin Knowles I believe. Great finds!
I love your videos especially your Sold videos
That set of Chilton 12 days of Christmas Cookie Cutters are actually valuable and sell for decent money. Vintage cookie cutters are becoming more and more obsolete and harder to find nowadays. People are using 3D printers to make and sell cookie cutters now.
I have some of those cookie cutters I have never used. They always seemed so thin.
My family had the same cookie cutters when I was little , back in the 1960’s .
You did well at Goodwill today!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Oh no. Now that satin glass bowl is going to be even lonelier. I thought it was very sweet
The cookie cutters are so neat, awesome tradition to have in your family
I think you did better than you think!!!
I love the dishes from Portugal! I have a lot of plates with dragonfly’s that I sourced years ago at Marshall’s.😍
Loungefly bags are expensive.
They're easy to clean. You just wipe them down. That's why people take them to the parks. Disney sells! ❤️🖤
You did find some awesome pieces!
Agree! I paid $60 for the same bag, new in the parks. Very durable! Have used for years. Cleans easily!
What a great pick I wish we had goodwills like you have over here. I love looking at all the beautiful things you find and I pretty much love the same things I do. Thanks for the videos. Sharon from Australia.
We had the cookie cutters when I was young in the mid to late ‘70’s.
Hello dear it's Newbie Kathy here. I hope your well. Love your videos. Sending good thoughts your way.
Hello wonderful lady thank you for sharing with us I'm completely obsessed
Channeling Andrew: "We don't buy chipped and cracked" lol
I`ve never seen the bagel dish before, Iove it! What an interesting find. The lampshade was amazing and if someone is good at ceramic restoration that is a score.
I had never seen one either. I was surprised by the comps.
You should carry a small blanket to protect the items in the cart.
The bunny and turkey Portugal pieces sell very well. I've sold many, in different holiday motifs and colors. Always grab those
Love your hair! You look so pretty today!
E O Brody makes glass for the florist industry, along with Indiana Glass. It's nothing special, maybe 10 dollars retail.
Be careful with the Bordallo Pinheiro (Portugal "Bunny" items). Notorious for lots of crazing. I check everything form there with a flashlight!!
They always have crazing, but still sell great regardless. :)
I love the bunny tea/sugar pot/plates..And that green TJmaxx flower vase ♡ Good haul!
Thank-you!
This was fun "again". Love all of your finds.
Lots of great stuff, Jocelyn
The pink and white glass pitcher and glasses are soooooooo beautiful!!!
1:25... Pottery bong? 🤣
I really enjoy watching your video it really gives me a lot of things to think about
Just so you know the Blue Willow, England are called divided plates
Hi Jocelyn. As I was saying I have never heard of a bagel tray. So thank you for teaching me.
Hi don’t forget Dagny collects some Occupide Japan . My sister collects Bill Campbell , I just found a large vase of his at Goodwill ! Be careful of his signature , it varies , sometimes scratchy sometimes clear Campbell . It also think he retired a couple years back .
Thanks. Fun to watch. Can’t find anything like what you find in Kingston Ontario.
The base of the "put together pumpkin" looked to be the sugar bowl for the cabbage leaf tea set you got for your mom.
Great finds today!
Made in occupied japan was a very limited time post WW2. I understood items marked with this are sought after.
Some still are but it doesn't have the number of collectors it used to have so prices have come down on most items.
I find some figurines in Ohio goodwill
Love your new nail colors for Spring!
Looking especially beautiful today, momma! Makeup and hair are fabulous!!
Another lovely evening sitting with my glass of wine watching my favorite site, thank you for sharing, make my evening so enjoyable. From De.
Lived the bagel dish! Unique!
I love that loungefly bag ugh
I’d buy it from you
I know your personal life is private, I am happy for you and your family in all of your adventures…. Looking forward to seeing the newest member of the crew….🎀
Loved to see the Bordallo Pinheiro from Portugal 💚
wish u had bought the flamingo bag .. my lil sis is addicted to flamingo
Today it looks like green day You found a lot of green My favorite color 😍
I'd love to see what the inside of your house looks like...you showed us once a while ago you had so many nice Nik Nak and things .....thanks for sharing 👍🙏🇭🇲
I posted a house tour during covid. You should be able to find it with a search for “crazy lamp lady house tour.”
Hello tiffany you did well again today enjoying looking at your latest shopping taking it easy trying to get over còvit a nasty dose you lift my heart thanks
Tiffany who? Don't you mean Jocelyn🤔
Who is Tiffany?
as soon as you picked up the green bunny teapot, i was thinking 'her Mom may like that". Some great finds, I especially like the 12 days of Christmas cookie cutter set.
I think mom already has the bunny plates to go with it. ☺️
I saw a lettuce pitcher today, with lid. Thought about your mom.
