In this session, it's the latter

8:40 rec opens on the button, and you find 99 in the SB. Mandatory 3bet, blow those other two out, torch the rec button, profit. Over easy like eggs on Sunday morning.

Jaman, your vlogs are outstanding! Your graphics, editing, music, narration, hand selection, etc. are interesting in every way. You know how to make us feel the drama, heartbreak and joy of playing poker. Personally, and most important to me, I can clearly see that my personality and bankroll are NOT cut out for this level of poker! I always think of moving up but the idea of being raised $400 or "ALL IN" when I have $2K are severe punches to my cowardly gut. Thanks for doing such a great job and you should have won 1st place in the vlog competition. Carry on!
Thanks man! No one is cut out for it to begin with. I remember losing $50 in a live 1/2 game in st louis and walking back to my car in total despair when I first started playing. Recently in a game I was down $4k and left down $500 and walked out like I had just won the showcase showdown! You build up a tolerance over time :)

So I’m new to poker and I want to get good I have watched about 15 hours of CZcams videos lol and barely learned anything about how to play lower hands nobody shows that like you do and I love it!! I have learned more from this one video then the last 100 videos of pro player vlogs I feel like they don’t show any strat they just be guessing because they have unlimited bankroll

6:30 pretty sure this is a mandatory 3bet if you're going to play it. Folding is fine, but if you're gonna dance, make the music louder. You don't want the BB in, and if you can blow the cold-caller out, it's that much more dead money. IMO, YMMV.

Would you say that the majority of these plays also translate to 1/3 live games? I typically play them ABC because players are so sticky, but would love to know your opinion
Nope, at those levels easily the most profitable way to play is just to "have it" and be nitty. They call way to much and the fanciness of any bluff will be lost on them completely

I'm days late but in the biggest hand of the night is there any hand other than Ah10h that your opponent could have had there? During the hand I thought AhQh but the river J on board 2 would have chopped the pot.

12:30 I don't know the outcome, but I predict you're going to be shown a monster, and he was waiting for a safe turn card, e.g. putting you on QJ and wanting to fade an A/9 before piling it in. Now I'll press play.
That girl who called the preflop raise with 74 was crazy. I had a guy do that to me last week, I had JJ and make it 25 pre and he raises me to 50. I don't like JJ so I just shove for 300 total (playing 1-3 so we both only had 300) and he snap calls. The run out was 4K792 and he says 2 pair, to my confusion I just table my JJ and he shows 79.

When I'm playing badly, I just leave. Otherwise, I end up chasing my losses, and making even MORE stupid plays! Last time I did it, I had about $700 in front of me, and I decided that if I was even, I was leavin'. Figured out that I was still about $100 down, and I was determined to spend another hour, or whatever I needed, to get that $100 back. Instead, I lost the entire $700! I was pissed with myself!

This is my previewing stance on the topic. I’ll update my post viewing stance shortly.I think it’s a little bit of both variance and bad play. I kept getting called light and ending up rivered or someone pulls a runner-runner and I get stacked . It maybe my feeling now just because I just lost like 10 minutes ago but hey who knows.

Finally someone who says the truth. Its not variance, its playing badly. Its just such a fact. Like you just cant blame variance. if your losing multiple buy ins then your not making the folds that you need to make. Your getting beat by your opponent because they have a better hand then you, and your not playing good enough to realize it. Its not variance.
You really need to be able to control variance, and if your controlling it properly, and getting your money in good while ahead probabilistically, THEN YOU CAN BLAME variance.

11:55 how can AK be good there? Is the opponent just that reckless? Jaman 3-bets pre, calls the 4-bet, and then raises the opponents bet on the flop. Jaman has established that he has a hand that isn't going anywhere. I too put the opponent on at least AK before he mucked. But when mucked, what did he have? Did he go completely nuts with QQ. Did he recklessly bluff QJ of hearts into a player that has shown he has a strong hand, hoping to take it down but having some outs?
