Was about to give PA kudos for doing something different until I saw the gut shot. Having an enclosed heatsink without a fan is idiotic and a recipe for an even earlier failure than is expected from a PA amp. This is a bad purchase at any price.
I haven't seen a dyno video on the BAMF 8000. You would be the first one to do so on CZcams. Let's get it brother👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾

The heat is definitely a huge concern. I wonder if the design has something to do with it since it's a first of its kind.

Interesting looking amp, not sure it's the best vented idea, but different. I wasn't expecting great results, but impressive I guess. At $199 or so price tag, per watt(s), I'll go for something else. Another great video my man.

I bought the 10k mofo assuming it would be greatly under its 1ohm advertisement wattage and my sub did not like it. I came back to this video to see the efficiency rating because I rewired my sub to 4ohm and wanted a realistic idea of what I was about to get. The manual actually has closer wattage than the box. Weird.. for the 6k it says 700 at 4ohm, 1200 at 2ohm and 2350 at 1 ohm. I saw what the box said in your video and noticed my packaging reflects the same absurdity lol. Box states 1700 at 4ohm. 2600 at 2ohm 4000 at 1ohm and the book says 1300 at 4ohm 2300 at 2ohm and 4300 at 1 ohm. I hope you can get your hands on a 10k I'd love to know what it's actually doing! For now I'll keep my sub at 4ohm for safety.
I thought it was going to be a good amp but I guess not they should’ve put the heat sink blades on the outside instead of the wrapping and that’s probably what heated up and made smoke

Where is power acoustic made? USA? TIWAN? CHINA?
China mostly and I think a couple of there razor series amps are Korean.
It will never do whatever wishful thinking rating is on the side of the box
Did you ever run this on subs? And how did it sound?
Yes it sounded ok for an inexpensive full bridge.
@@HiFiVector Did the clip light go on like it did in the video? Cause that was kind of a pain. Is it worth getting the 10K full bridge?
The clip light was still wonky when I hooked it up to a subwoofer so that was pretty annoying. And the quality of the internals did not look that great. I think there’s better options for fullbridge amps out there. In my opinion, taramps is the way to go. As they sound good, and have excellent protection circuitry.
