Located in the East Riding of Yorkshire, the Flamborough Head to Bempton Cliffs walk is easily one of the best coastal routes in the UK. But, many walkers will miss the outstanding Drinking Dinosaur attraction, located along the coastline at Flamborough Head.
The Drinking Dinosaur isn’t actually located on the typical route, as depicted in many trail descriptions online. But, it only takes a small detour off the typical route to explore this amazing natural attraction.

Hey guys, oh nice one. Ah yeah, those coastal walks can be pretty treacherous in the winter. No way we'd be able to fly the drone then! Can't wait to see your adventure there. Thanks as always for your support 😀
@@travelmademedoit we got to check out the fairly impressive seal colony there, people have been telling us for years that they see the odd seal there and ive never seen one. We have a huge colony below Ravenscar and a quite decent one just South of Cayton Bay. We walked the entire coastal breadth from Danes Dyke to the lighthouse headland and were about to give up when we stumbled on over a hundred at the end of the Lighthouse. Exceptionally windy though, definitely a no no for a drone at the moment. I could hardly hold the camera still so not sure what the quality of the shots will be like. 👍
@@GENerationXplorers that's amazing! We saw around a dozen seals from afar at the Drinking Dinosaur and then one up close on the beach at Thornwick Bay. If you want to sea LOTS of seals, head to Horsey Gap in Norfolk - there are thousands there & it's absolutely mindblowing!
@@travelmademedoit great tip, thanks guys. Honestly there is going on a thousand at Ravenscar but they do have the Seal Police educating people there and diverting pathways. You will need a good optical zoom to get decent shots. Not sure but possibly the drone is ok? We have 30x optical but as respectful as you try to be its hard not to upset them at times! 😍👍
@@GENerationXplorerssounds very similar to the setup at Horsey Gap. Yeah, we had to get our Zoom on point for photos haha the drone would be cool, but I don't think the rangers would allow it & wouldn't want to spook the seals either!
