- Mumbai Goa Highway Project is the road widening from 2 lane to 4 lane of existing NH66 connecting Mumbai to Goa. This Project was started a decade ago in 2011, but till now the highway project isn't completed.

Mene recently travel kia. Abhi bahut kaam baki hai. NH17 ke khubsurat gav, gav ke log ab nahi rahe. Aaj ki pidhi khubsurat NH17 ko nahi jaan payegi. Muje wah ghar yaad hai jinke bahar likha rehta tha " Jevan taiyar aahe". Traffic ke board pe likha rehta tha "thamba" "jara japun".

Just to a minor correction, what you are calling Kolad is actually a a village called at "Talavali".
Also a brige will be constructed in a Kolad, since it has one of the important Divergence for Kashid and Murud Beach.

In kerala NH66, 6 lane work is going on in 550kms. Work is going very fast.

Can you enlighten us, how the trees are fut along side the road widening..
And what is the status of the mandatory tree plantation alongside newly built roads..
And why there is no Median Tree plantation of Big trees which can make the travel pleasant and cool ??

Bro couple of months ago, i traveled from Murud (return journey) and google took me from Mhasala-Tala road (g-map was showing this) which was awesome but very lonely. I was the only fellow on the road driving for about 20 mins. Pls if you can share more info about this road...

Both Indapur and Mangaon .. are very conjested area.. to do the widening land acquisition could have been vwry challanging.. even if they planned a Flyover still they needed to do existing road widening for piling and other activities.. so yes bypass road is better

Only 2 options which don't give any hopes that within 5 years this road gets completed without any toll.
Joke is like one MLA elected 6 times for loksabha and still did nothing for this road. Still we are voting for such people.
We work hard to earn money and give taxes to government for getting good services and public welfare. But we choose religious sentiments over progressive thoughts while choosing such useless MLA's.
