Exact problem on my 95 T100 5vzfe... Tried new belts and it didn't work, but now I see I was just paranoid and need to tighten it more!! Another awesome Yota vid, Thanks!! : )
I just finished!, mine was the altenator belt making the noise, so I also tightened up the other two, now in all good, no squeal lol, thanks boss, you are the man! ;o) CHEERS!

I have a 2012 scion thats doing the same thing. Replace the belt and still does it. If the lights and fan is on is screetching. Shut both off. And goes away. Only one belt.

I tried tightening both alternator bolts but they’re already too tight, yet the belt is still kinda lose. Any ideas?
I cannot undo my pulley bolt for the AC belt any suggestions????

Loose alternator belt was source of noise. I HIGHLY recommend soaking the adjustment bolt prior to tightening. 😑. ‘98, 293k, 5 speed.

I have that noise problem on my Toyota Tacoma it happens when I turn on my air conditioning
My 99 4runner is doing the same thing every time I start up the SUV if the air is on
But after fixing the squeal...now I am hearing a chirping sound. How do you fix that?

My 97 Tacoma 2.7L is started to squeal off and on when the truck gets at operational temperature I checked the very bottom pulley it feels loose

yes 100% is the belt, got a same problem when i turn the a/c on on my 2.7L 3rz, replaced the belt and the problem is solved.
