- Frankie Goes To Hollywood, Art of Noise, taTu, Godley & Crème, 10CC, ABC, Buggles, Slave To The Rhythm by Grace Jones... why are we listing amazing bands and records? Because The Producers made those amazing records by those amazing bands. And now they're a band themselves. The Producers are Trevor Horn, Lol Créme, Stephen Lipson and Ash Soan. Between them they've had over 200 hit singles and albums. Together they hoped to become the most over qualified pub band in the world, playing to relieve the tension of working in the studio. But now The Producers has become a whole lot more than that, and their debut album Made In Basing Street is a celebration of the sounds and musicianship that made them some of the most successful names in the business.
We filmed them playing, semi unplugged in a room at the legendary Sarm West Studios. It's a bit special. After this they played Two Tribes. Yes really. And we filmed that too.
The Producers - Made In Basing Street is released on June 25.
PS. That's Kirsten Joy on backing vocals and Julian Hinton on keyboard. - Hudba
Trevor's voice is so beautiful...and it still sounds so young. That's really fantastic.
Love Lol Creme!
I've been listening to 10CC tracks on CZcams and this came up. It's great to discover great tracks like this. Really enjoyed it.
My favorite tune Trevor has ever done. I particularly like the version with the big drum intro. I would guess this was written for his wife.
Too much talent for one room.
Trevor has the most beautiful voice! The Producers album was spectacular and I am eagerly waiting a follow up. I would give anything for a chance to see Trevor and these guys perform live. I hope they will come do some gigs in the US!! Until then, thank heaven for CZcams!
All my favorite artists in one band!Perfect music!
I've become a true fan of this amazing band this weekend.
Wow here you hear why these songs are brilliant.
Love this light version.
Been waiting for ages to hear Trevor Horn sing again. Very nice. Thank you.
So fantastic, i have no words for this.........
The guitar solo and the quiet bit thereafter are just sublime.

Wonderful pop song, but if you know a bit about the history of what happened to Trevor Horn's wife, this song takes on more power. Fantastic piece of writing.
