Eddie, Bart Conner, Bill Allen, Martin Aparijo, and other stars and players of the film gathered together with me to record an audio track that works as a companion to watching Rad. These guys tell the most amazing and sometimes hilarious stories about the making of this quintessential 1980s coming-of-age BMX film. It will change the way you enjoy the movie forever.
You can read more at www.cdbaby.com/cd/billallen and you can buy it there or through iTunes itunes.apple.com/us/album/rad...
Eddie also makes his own line of amazing bikes, the EF Proformer. You can see them at www.eddiefiola.co/ . I'm proud to say I am the owner of legendary number 43, out of only 250 made. - Sport

I was 10 when I saw Rad in the theater. After that the only thing I wanted in life was my own BMX bike. My parents got me one for Xmas that year. They thought it was strange their 10 year old daughter wanted a red BMX bike lol.

My brothers and I watched RAD over and over, one of my favorite movies when I was kid. Still enjoy it as an adult and still love bicycles.

It is on the Vinegar Syndrome limited edition Blu-ray, or separately on iTunes!
I live in Canada and the weather pattern Eddie referred to is called a Chinook. The movie was filmed in and around Calgary Alberta. Alberta is known for Chinook weather. Glad Eddie and the rest of the cast got to enjoy it. Haha
I’m so glad I grew up in the late 70’s and early 80’s. Eddie and the GT team along with the RAD movie made bmx so much better.

You were my idol as a teenager. I remember this kid wanted my Steve Caballero board and wanted to trade me for his GT Perforner, so I did lol! After seeing the movie, my favorite trick was a boomerang (that's what they called it in Tennessee anyways. Was cool to land that trick like after 30 attempts or so lol!
