I won't lie, St Antony of Padua has never refused me any request. As a young man, I was struggling so much with lustful desires and pornography, I beg St Anthony to pray for me and help me, on the 9th day of the Novena, all the lustful desires are gone, and felt pure and peaceful in my heart.

Clarification: I believe Franciscans are called "Friars" as distinct from "Monks" because "Friars" were mendicants (beggars) and itinerant preachers while "Monks" took a "vow of stability."
