How Reliable is a 2010 Honda Odyssey with 160K miles? | POV Test Drive

This generation of Honda Odyssey was produced from 2005-2010 and I'm reviewing one from the last year of this generation. Both the engine and transmission is smooth and reliable. The Odyssey is the top-ranked minivan in the US News in 2010 and the 2007-09 Odyssey was the best-selling minivan in the United States.

Overall, this car would be ideal for commute and entertainment. The interior quality is good. The cabin isn't super quiet as there's a bit rattles or other noises but that's expected from an affordable minivan. I think the powertrain on these cars are reliable. It has a Honda V6 engine with 244 Horsepower using 5-speed automatic transmission. The car drives well even though it has 160K miles and I believe it still has lots of life left on it.

160k is low for these, only downside is the timing belt service every 105k 7 years as its about 1,000 with quality parts

@@enesthemenace06 you might wanna check when it was last done if the belt or tensioner fails engine damage can occur. 105k or 7 years whichever comes first. Aisin brand timing belt Kit is pretty affordable about 200-300.00 if ur mechanically inclined.

Oem parts for about 700-800,aisin kit has some of the same parts as oem like the koyo idlers.
