Brazilian here: Cosme Velho is a neighboorhood in Rio de Janeiro, here in Brazil. HIs name would translate directly to Witch of Cosme Velho. Bruxo, though, has a very different meaning here. It's somewhat akin to "badass" in english.

Between you and MTG original decks my youtube home page is full of jank arena decks. I love it.
Here are some really good combos for double visions:
Goblin Gathering: Shit tons of tokens.
Direct Damage: Shit tons of direct damage.
Land Destruction: Shit tons of land destruction.
AOE Damage Board Clears (storm's wrath, etc) : Shit tons of AOE damage.
My favorite so far has been Witch's Oven + Traitorous Greed + Double Vision.
You can steal 1 extra creature per double vision, AND you get 2 mana back each.
Not only does it pay for itself, but if you do more than 2, it gives you MORE mana than you spent.
I put it in my "SURPRISE! DRAGONS!" deck. Where I transmogrify my own tokens into dragons from my deck. Or transmogrify my opponent's creatures into them. It's fun.
Turning your opponent's creature into Drakuseth is a great time.

You can use this and tweak it to work better if you want to try it out Chris. I'd be honored if you did. it'd probably be better with 4 transmogrify in it, but I don't own them.
The strategy is to spam tokens and then either transmogrify them into a big dragon or steal your opponent's creatures and transmogrify them (or sacrifice them). The traveller's Amulets, lockets, and mazemind tomes are for getting mana because the cards are expensive. You can use any big dudes for the finisher, I've also tried meteor golem, and a few other things. I didn't put more than 2 Drakuseths because they are basically redundant if you do it more than once.
It might also need some storm's wraths which also combo with the double vision if you think it needs it. Anyway, enjoy. I had fun with a mono red deck that wasn't aggro.
Actually I just remembered that that is a 90 card deck so far... ha ha ha.. also I just realized how great Lukka is in it.
SO yeah, add Lukkas and trim it down to 60 and you're good to go.

You open up with "double vision" and I'm instantly thinking of the Aqua Teen episode with the Foriegner band super belt. Carl belting out "You're hot blooded?...check it...and see" still emblazoned in my brain. Friendsly tip of the day: Go watch it. Season 1 Episode 8 Revenge of the Mooninites.

Bruxo do Cosme Velho are words in brazilian portuguese! I live in Brazil and I've seen you play quite a few people with Brazilian names. This one basically means wizard of "old Cosme" which is a famous neighborhood we have here :p
At 15:20 you couldve just done your turn as bonecrusher and left your lands open, then at the beginning of your opponent’s upkeep before he draws you couldve done bonecrusher again, killing him. Double visions says the first instant/sorc on EACH turn. And doing one on yours and one on his wouldve been 10 dmg each

I've been using this double vision card a lot lately.
It's like divine visitation, in that if you play it there is a 50/50 chance you will immediately die, or win the game. One or the other.

Hey @MONO BLACK MAGIC, I think your MTGA client resolution is low. When I watch your videos, your image is clear and crisp (~720P or better), but the gameplay is always "fuzzy" - low res. Can you check your MTGA settings or the capture software to make sure you are producing 720P+ video quality? Thanks Dude!

I think it's a bit hopeless today hoping for no removal when it's literally just about all everyone else plays online. It'd be nice if I could find people often who don't base their decks around only things like Elspeth Conquers Death, Teferi, counterspells, and Dream Trawlers, or even just mono red embercleave.
It does seem like today people either make a deck aiming to prevent you from playing entirely, or to get the game over with before it's started with turn 3-4 KO .
I play mostly play jank deck, and i don't meet full aggro deck (mono red cavalcade, white weenies, azorius flyers, etc) that much. But if I put one or two shatter the sky or ECD in the deck i'm screwed and will face ramp Ugin or aggro way too often too have fun.
@@siobovitch Yeah, last thing we needed was more powerful removal and cheaper counterspells, or counterspells that do a hundred different things within the same card even. I liked the idea of things like Crystaline, Ozolith, and etc. We don't need a card that, like Treachery, everyone builds the ramp around playing the single card for the auto-win as fast as possible, and having about zero way for non-blue to counter whatsoever unless you're running completely colorless decks. WotC actually released a freaking counterspell that refunds ALL of the mana used to cast it by untapping 4 lands. They have no clue what to do. They're making mega huge creatures and spells, yet making super-cheap counterspells and removal. What do they think's going to happen? Obv if blue can land a single small creature with spare mana vs about any deck but red, they'll most likely take an automatic win, especially against players who have low tolerance levels for playing those games. After 2 counterspells straight I just concede games, even in ranked too. I stopped caring about ranks so much and tried more on focusing actually enjoying the game.
@@supershmeep8682 Actually the counter spell you're talking about is a reprint (rewind), and Agent of Treachery has been banned. I personnaly don't mind counter spells, I even enjoy playing dimir flash control myself from time to time. When talking about rank, i stop at platinium for contructed and limited, that's good enough for me ;) Keep it easy pal

I would love to see your take on a shrine / ultimatum deck. I have one made that does really well but struggles a bit against super aggro decks. (Surprise). I run a ton of removal and ramp to build up to the shrines and ultimatums with some shark typhoons. It's a ton of fun!

So sad.. when you play a deck like this and see your opponent play something like a Shrine deck, and you know you've already won..
If I ever run into this guy, I will play but I won't defeat him. And I'd let him do whatever he is trying to do. also Jace was using shrines all wrong. The only two cards you need in a shrines deck, is board wipes and the spyglass to turn off any and all potential Ugins. And you simply steamroll your opponent.
