- The Ted Everett Auction in the Indianapolis area has a huge inventory of machines - anything from lawn mowers, zero turn mowers, sub compact tractors, larger utility tractors all the way to combines. Tractor Time with Tim and his friend Michael walk the grounds looking at all the equipment before watching some of the small tractor sell. Does Tim buy another tractor?

I bought a john deere 3032e from Ted Everett's auction October 2017 and I really like it. He says at the start of each auction if there is something major wrong with it he will fix it or give your money back.
Something a bit different here, enjoyed the auction and the yard walk. Thanks, TTWT
I'd love to walk that yard. That'd be a fun way to spend a day. Thanks for sharing.
Appreciate you videoing the sold price. It's nice to know what people are paying.
Love your videos Tim. In my opinion, this is one of your best ones yet. Your knowledge of equipment is very good. I was amazed at how well you can identify various equipment from all different brands.
I grew up on the 224 acre farm here in NE Iowa that I live on and now own. We have roughly 116 acres tillable and the rest is a hardwood timber with a huge spring originating on my property.
I am now 63 and from very early on in my life I have always loved tractors. Whenever we would go to the local implement dealers I would always have to go around and sit on every tractor and dream of one day owning them for myself. I now have 8 tractors, if you count my 2 garden tractors. Today, we plan to do a video of some of the tractors and equipment that we have here. Featured will be a1940 Ford 9N with a Dearborn 3 pt. buzz saw, a 1958 John Deere 520, a very rare 2520 John Deere diesel, and my Kubota L2501. I have a couple other things to show also, 1 that I will not say what it is and see how many viewers can identify it in the comments. I would be curious to see if you would know. With how you did in this video, I am not willing to bet against you. The video will be up by tomorrow night, barring problems. Internet here in flyover country can be troublesome, at times.
I always enjoy your videos. Keep them coming Tim
Gary Fox, Iowa
Thanks for taking us along...keep on keeping on!
I think I would have a blast going to an auction like that and looking at all that equipment.
yes a lot of fun to watch and look.
Hope you had fun.
Buy one of those small John Deere ride on mower it would save the 1025 having loads of additional hours when your mowing
I thought very long and hard about this. The drive over deck was very easily the price of a decent used riding mower($1600 iirc)
If I had it to do over again, I think I would go the two machines route. My old x500 did just great mowing the lawn, and my little attachments look silly behind the 1025r :)
@@jagx234 I agree with you! If I had to do it over it again I would definitely not opt for the drive over deck. And for me I would mow with a 318 or preferably a 332.
Tim, Thank you for sharing the auction video. I'd love to be there just to check out all those machines😊👍
This is my kind of auction, I need all of it .
That is a lot of stuff! The auctions around here only have a few tractors and mostly trucks.
Wishing I could afford a sub compact... maybe one day. I'm not sure an auction like this is a good place to buy a deere or a kubota they seem a tad overpriced. Regardless its fun watching
At first I thought Tim and an Auction????? That 4720 with the snow thrower and rear blade looked like a good deal.
I doesn't seem like it would be profitable to buy from owners and then truck machines across the country to sell them at auction.
Reference to the stolen tractor was a nice cliffhanger. I can't wait to learn more.
Enjoyed the auction video Tim. For no more people that were there looked like a good place to get a deal. Y'all take care and God bless.
Big inventory but the prices were big too. Auction fever gets a lot of people.
Really cool place. Well worth the 5 hour drive every now and then. My pap bought a 455 and a Hartwig there for a great price.
I almost went to that auction. There is also don smock that auctions heavy equipment in Pendleton, occasionally having farm equipment from farmers retiring.
Last Ted Everett sale I went to we got there at 930 and arrived home at 3AM on Saturday load in tow.
Funny thing is Tim I've been looking at John Deere's for about a month and a half. And I seen a bunch of those same identical tractors for sale all over the country thank you sir for showing me that. The school district snow blower when I actually called on.
Excellent education for those that have not been to an auction looking deals on tractors, buyer beware!.
I'm glad you did this video I've always been curious what equipment being in during an auction
The auction looked like a great time. I can't wait to hear the update on your stolen tractor.
I would be soo tempted to buy something.
Thanks Tim cool seeing what stuff Is going for.
That was interesting. Thx for posting.
Wow didn't know about this. Might just have to go down and check out this auction. Only about an hour away from me.
Great video tim, lots of sub compacts for great prices! Great video its nice to see something different like this every now and again.
love action and prices and comparioson
No way! Those prices were crazy high.
Man I could watch this until the cows come home thanks for sharing this
“Here comes a locomotive....”
“Looks like a high dollar baby doll...”
Gotta love it!
@3:10 you pass a mini excavator with Loberg Excavating on it. This is from Northwest Illinois where I am. The owner died last year and his equipment was auctioned off on November 9th at one of his sites one mile from where I live.
@6:02 you pass by one of his scrapers.
That case in the back at 5.29 looks so good and it's a 90 series
Looks good. Wish he was closer
Wow a lot of nice machinery there!
Very interesting! I could watch that all day! Take me with you next time!!!!
Christy said you would want to come along next time!
She thinks that she and Tracy should be there to monitor us!
Tractor Time with Tim noooooooo

@@TractorTimewithTim 👀 Like a hawk! 👍👍🤣
Good video Tim thanks buddy
I have great will power. I can squeeze money pretty well. But walking into one of those auctions would be like walking into a tool store. All will power melts lol....
This was great... What a terrific opportunity to get a good buy on just about anyting I love auctions I used to be a car wholesaler. And as always love the verse!
This is NOTHING like the local Northeast PA farm equipment auctions! Nothing at all!
What's it like there?
@@touche9239 We get auctions with maybe 5% of what is offered in this video, and most of what they auction off around here is old, broken, and basically unusable....yet still sells for way too much. 😟 😕
I thought I wanted an Orange tractor (I've lived near Syracuse my whole life!), but after watching pretty much every one of your videos have decided to go Green. Each has their own pros and cons, but I ended up with far more check marks in the pro column for the 1025R. Money being a major factor in this purchase, I watched your stolen auction video with interest. Hopefully, I won't make the same mistake! What would be helpful, though; is a video on what issues may arise with the purchase of a preowned 1025R. What parts tend to wear on a 1025R? What were your most expensive repairs? How often will the "average Joe" have to bring their tractor in for service versus doing the repairs yourself? Is it worth investing in a trailer for these dealer visits? How can you tell the difference between a tractor that's been abused and one that's been well taken care of? Do you have a "guesstimate" of the average cost of ownership per year? You've answered so many of my other questions with your videos, perhaps you could also address these. Not all of us have a money tree growing in our backyards, but I'd sure like to plant one with my new (used) tractor!
Wow! Excellent topics!
WOW , I 've seen examples of USED equipment auctions that were parts machines and other were collectors units but in very bad condition . I 've never seen such NEW units and so many , extremely sad only being able to watch .
Do any of the very low hour units have any factory warranty coverage ?
heartland96a stuff doesn’t sell cheap there I bet
We only dream of these auctions in PEI lol
Hi Tim i like your videos a lot after watching your videos I went out and bought myself a compact tractor. It’s a Massey Ferguson. I call it Thomas. So keep putting out videos I will continue watching them thank you.
Thanks for the kind words!
Tim you have to go to Nearest CAT Dealer & get Demo of D8 & Towed Scraper or Get 25ton Excavator
Wow I really really really enjoyed this video!Thank you Tim, can´t for the other ones!:)
You know what it tells me watching you guys walk around and looking at all that equipment for sale? People rarely sale their Massey Ferguson's. They are so good if you get one you just hang on to it for life.
Hey, did you see the old Massey bear the end?...and they had a nice looking 165 diesel (somewhat rare) go through the line too.
@@TractorTimewithTim No I missed that. That Ford 4000 was the deal of the day. You put a 6 ft shredder behind it and they sale like hotcakes on these little ranchettes around here.
One would think that you’ve had your fill of auction buys?
I knew where you were the second I saw it. I don't live to far away.
You also need one tractor pushing the scraper.
I find equipment auctions fun to go to..but at least around here..its more of a bidding contest to see who can out do the other with common sense left at home..i've literally seen items go for more than you can buy them new for..or very close . The last one i went to..after waiting 4 hours for the "one" item i wanted..the opening bid was higher than i would have paid for it new..it ended almost doubling in starting bid..but a great place to send your stuff and get top dollar lol...cant fix stupid
chris sterling very true statements
Wow that's a lot of tractors 😁
Good to hear from you, Mighty Moe!
By the way, where in the US is this auction held every two months. And on what day of the month would they hold said auction activity.
MLK day. My Erie, IL
teds is right down the road from me.
Where is this located?
He is not far from me also.

Tim this was fun I would have trouble keeping up with the auctioneer thank you fpr something different
God Bless All
PaK
Good video I have been wanting to go to that auction. I have heard a lot about it.
This was my first time.
man the prices seem high I would just go new for the security.
After paying the auction percentage, most of these didn't seem like that great of deals. Still would be fun to go to!
I don’t believe there is an additional auction charge.
@@TractorTimewithTim really? That's interesting. I'm close enough, I'll definitely have to look into it! Thanks for the video!
I noticed a ford golden jubilee
Yuupp!
Hey Tim!
High prices! Geeeze buy it new
I love and miss auctions, back in Illinois we went to many of them. We bought a Ford 3000 tractor probably paid too much.it had a loader but I think it was too big. I ended up putting new tires on front and a new water pump later on. Sold it with a 2 bottom plow, rear blade and cultivator. Moved to Florida which now I wished I hadn't
Where was it located?
I need to find something like this in Oklahoma!
One bigger than this in Idabell. Goes on for three days.
David Harris thanks!
Been there loading tractors at 1am on an auction day and they were still selling equipment
Went there to buy a corn planter and it was after midnight before it sold, nice place, heated seating area and they drive a lot of equipment through, full kitchen and a huge piece of property, nice place
Probably some sad stories of why some of this equipment is up for sale
Peter Mavus second hand sales often have a sad tale behind them.
all this equipment is trade ins at dealers. its tedeverett auctions they buy all the dealers used stock
True for some. My dad got a JCB 214 2nd series 1996 backhoe and the transmission is pretty much wore out due to abuse. It’s the only thing I really don’t like about it other than that it’s a mad beast.
Ted gives a warranty on almost everything he sells and if there is something wrong with it it sells as is. I have bought farm equipment at this auction for 30 years and Ted is one of the most honest man I know anywhere. In other words if he says it I believe it. Crooks could not stay in business this long.
@@americasdream1265 Wow i posted this months ago.. only meant that some people in desperate shape to raise money or gone out of business
Teds in clayton Indiana
Who makes that pull behind bat wing mower? Kubota?
I need to go and get me another tractor
Did you see any Toro 5xi tractors? I have three of them. I started and run the Toro 5xi Facebook page.
I didn’t spend much time with the lawn equipment. There was a bunch of it!!!
I noticed all the kubuttos were in the for free line. Lol 😂
What did you end up buying?
have bought many things at that auction
Any Ventracs and attachments on that sale? Looks like they just about everything.
They didn’t have a single Ventrac or attachment.
@@TractorTimewithTim Lots of happy satisfied owners .... Or can't they sell them ????
Didn't see any Massey Ferguson, curious why?
I'm need motor for a1983 or 84 Yamar 2010 3 cyl. Diesel
Woohoo, I'm in a TTWT video!
When?
At 6:54 I'm on the far right in the stands, bright yellow hat.
James Drumwright shoulda flagged me down!
I didn't want to interrupt your filming.
where and when are these auction
Tim, with so many up for sale do people get deals on these (ie do people get caught sleepin or get tired of bidding) or does every tractor generally go for a respectable price?
There was a large Deere road grader which sold for $9000. It looked great.
I don't think you will get a 'super deal' on a nearly new machine, but I do think you could get a good deal on an older machine which needs a little TLC.
I'm no expert. This was my first Ted Everett auction.
@@TractorTimewithTim Thanks sir, appreciate the feedback. I'm casually looking and was wondering about auctions like this. Reminds me of fantasy football auctions, when they get deep into the auction, sometimes you can catch the bidders "sleeping"....
Sorry to hear about the stolen tractor...
I was thinking of you a few days ago! Wondering how you were making out
So what did you come home with? :)
That’s out in Monrovia Indiana and I live in Monrovia Indiana
Ahhhh .... ! Temptation ..... ROFL!
No "hello" or "hey how you doing" just "how many hours" like some kind of mafia heavy.
Prices are kinda high these folks seem to be fine over paying for a lot of these tractors gezz
It takes two bidders to make an auction.
wish there was an auction like that in missouri. would trade my 1025r for 2 series tractor
There used to be such an auction in Sikeston ...frequently. Not sure if it still exists.
@@TractorTimewithTim dont think it does. most auctions i see [paper or online] are out of state.

Are there any auctions like this near Connecticut?
Where this at
We’re is this auction at
I was going to say if you never update us on the stolen tractor, the reference to it in the beginning of the video more than makes up for it.
👍
Just paid 31k for a new 2025r with front loader, backhoe and mower deck
What did that model 85 Massy Ferguson go for at the very end? My grandfather has had one since new! It's been in the barn for years with issues in the power steering. I've been considering fixing it when I get the time.
Teds is NO reserve also!
did you buy any thing at the auction
a lot of nice tractors
Was that Stilesville, In?
Monrovia
Did you buy anything?
Are these mostly repos?
No.
I think John deer is the best
