I thought my friend was a superhero when we were kids because she fell out of the back of her grandmother's station wagon while they were merging onto the highway, and she didn't break any bones. She was scraped up, but not a single bone was broken.
You ARE a superhero in so many more ways than getting ran over by a car. As a mother, I can't imagine the pure horror your mom felt in that moment! Glad you were okay and all was well ❤
Loved the centerpieces and can’t believe you only made them for a few dollars! So pretty! Wow, your story at the end! God’s angels were protecting you! 😇 You’re only a few years older than me, and I know seatbelts, at least in the States back then, weren’t required. My brothers, who were kids in the 70s, didn’t wear seatbelts and ran around inside the car....while it was moving. We all lived to be grown! 😂 So that could be why you fell out? Who knows. You’re a walking miracle and a blessing to us on CZcams! God bless❣️

a tip for glitter, is to use hairspray on things that have glitter to keep it from getting everywhere. Just a tip.

What about a glass or plastic front picture frame with glitter lettering? Would the picture behind it still be visible after spraying hairspray? TIA

I was just at dollar tree yesterday... walked right past those vases, couldn’t think what to do with them- now I’m going back- I never would have thought to glue flower pics to them!!!! You are awesome. You do have super powers, you “see” things that many of us don’t- like those vases- and you come up with such great stuff that makes the rest of us look good!
When my dad was 12 he made himself some cardboard wings and took a swan dive off his garage- didn’t end well!😂that craziness has been passed down! I totally understand the super power thing!😉
The nice thing about these center pieces, you can keep them for year's, or refresh them as trend's change.

Haha...kids do sometimes have wild imaginations!! I once jumped off one of our outside sheds when I was a kid to see if I could fly. I took an umbrella for a parachute!! I was lucky to never break any bones either!!! Love the candles!!

Great decor pieces and I love your stories! Into my early 20's I had never played the lottery. I was convinced that when the urge really felt strong and I finally bought a ticket, that in would win. I tell you, I was shocked when I didnt win! Ahhh youth!

We adults are a little weird too! LOL Thank you, and I really mean it, for sharing Dollar Tree DIYs that are really nice enough to even gift to others....folks, like me, are on a tight budget but I would rather give nothing at all if I was to have to give some of those pitiful "gift items" that are shown most of the time!

A family ran over their 2-3 year old on a camping trip I was babysitting at in 6th grade. The baby was fine soon after & continued the trip like nothing had happened! Superhero babies!!! 💟

Really pretty decorations. I wish we had a dollar store here in Denmark. I would love to have a mantle piece I could decorate for Christmas, they're just not common here. One day I will build a faux one.
Your stories are so hilarious. I was that kid too. When I was 7 I was convinced I was queen of the birds. That they understood what I was saying and that they would come and sit on my finger if I whistled. Problem was that I didn't know how to whistle so I couldn't prove it to my cousins. They teased me for years afterwards. I got the idea from Mary Poppins. I still cringe when I watch that movie. Lol.

I remember wishing for superpowers like on bewitched when I was a kid too and you know I practiced! 😄😄😄 I'm still weird and as convinced it's the only way to be(much more fun😄) the centerpieces are great, I've been hunting for the deer head Ornies at my dt... Love them!

Hey Cass. The Center pieces are amazeballs !! I have also never broken a bone and I’m 37. I did the trying to move things with my mind too as a kid. My husband still try’s now he likes to check if his Jedi powers have kicked in yet 😒
Cas, the centerpieces are so, so pretty! I love your inspiration! My mom backed over my little brother when he was about 12 months old. There were even faint tire tracks on him! But no broken "rubber" bones! You are a true SUPER HERO tho - look how many people you have rescued (and continue to rescue) from the horrifying grips of clutter and disorganization!! Now if only you could harness the power of your mind to move things.....

Your Dollar Tree is AMAZING; it's stocked like a Walmart!! I have YET to see a Dollar Tree here in Florida that has that much great looking stuff! Needless to say, I'll have to spend just a bit more money to get the vases and candles...haven't found them in the 4 Dollar Tree stores I have visited so far (Sigh). Your ideas are wonderful and so inspiring and because I can't seem to get that creative, I'll just borrow yours ;-). So thanks so much for sharing!!!!

I have a twin sister and we also tried the, "move the object with the mind" game. Go super powers. I've never been ran over by a vehicle, but once I fell out of an old Dodge truck bed when it was moving uphill, pretty fast, scared my brother half to death because he was a teenage driver and it hurt him more than me ;) I loved your idea for the centerpiece and as always I look forward to your next posts.
