Im sorry but that's not a "nice touch". In flash you can re-use some backgrounds as they're like layers so that why he did (he also used some materials from another flash games he did before).
Mark if you look cautiously on the "Hell" death, you will notice that the fighting in the background are actually kills from the original "Whack Your Boss".

I remembered a scene from Hellsing Ultimate when the Nazis were parading dead people on spikes.
I actually liked listening to the boss. He made some pretty clever points. I certainly would not whack him after everything he said, he seemed pretty wise. If anything, I would have a new respect for him. I do have a new respect for him.
