  • Satellite Director was created to align a satellite dish, for TV or Radio reception, with a satellite. But can you use Satellite Director to align your TV antenna with a local TV broadcaster ?
    YES, you can !
This is not limited to receiving TV signals with a directional TV antenna but applies to all signals you want to receive that require a directional receive antenna. All you need to know is the GPS location of the broadcasting antenna or tower. Unfortunately there are no global lists of them but you can create such a list with Satellite Director.
If you know the address (street + number, city, country) of the broadcasting antenna then Satellite Director can fetch its GPS location but it requires internet access. Or find its location with Google Earth on your phone or computer and remember the GPS location.
The antenna location can be added to the satellite list, or you can use it as a 'once only' as antenna. The satellite list can be saved, including the added antenna, and is available when ever you use Satellite Director again.
An example of a broadcasting tower is the Gerbrandy tower in the Netherlands which is located at Hogebiezendijk 21, IJsselstein in the Netherlands or at 52.010057 North and 5.053499 East.
Now lets show you, how to add an antenna.
