@Brother asked a very good question Brother Khabib is upon Qur'an and Sunnah. The only thing that mattered is that war between Muslims is over and Islamic rule is established. Of course brother refrained from speaking on matter which would bring more damage than benefit.
Instead of people focusing on Khabib's response they should be questioning the reporter's motives for asking a political question in a news conference which was about sports and not politics. He should not have to apologize and people should understand the position he was placed in rather than be offended by his remarks. Everyone knows him to be a caring and compassionate human being and should have known better than to assume he meant any harm. He may have answered abruptly but it's only because he was put in a trap by the journalist.

I wouldn’t go as far as saying “khabib has always spoken and stood against oppressors”. He’s said many times he’s a supporter of Putin, and we all know Putin has been killing Muslims in Chechnya, Syria and so on.
Having said that, his statement about Afghanistan has been completely twisted and misrepresented what he actually meant.

In most of them blood spills all over and many people have died in the ring or in the hospital. Haram or not. We should not sell our faith for money. Sourate 2 :178 " Je vous donne la loi du Talion, homme libre pour homme libre, esclave pour esclave " Comme quoi notre bon Dieu ferme ses yeux sur l’ esclavage.
J'ai vomit le jour que j'ai lu ça et depuis j'ai décidé de combattre l'islam jusqu'à la fin de mes jours.

We will always support and love you Khabib. Us Afghans here in the US can’t say anything about supporting the Taliban either because all these lost Afghans will jump to our throats. We all know there was a motive behind asking that question at that moment and as humans we are not perfect. Sometimes we get so frustrated with a situation that you just want to put a stop to it, and that's when you can chose words deemed inappropriate or insensitive. They don't care about the Afghani people and seek to mock and 'feed their reporter egos' just like a bully does when availed of an audience. Most Western if not all media have their own agenda, they want to antagonise, blame, stoke the fire. Its like with a clean heart we know what Khabib meant in the 1st interview, however journalists probe and search for a negative response, even if it is positive somehow it will be communicated in the media as negative.

The media always want to create beff among brothers to create view. Look what happened to khamzat.the media purposely make him in a wierd situation n make khamzat beff with khabib. Later on khamzat realise that is just the media made him beff with khabib. He now say that he always respected khabib.

It's very hard to find a man humble himself to apologize for his mistake or for the misunderstanding people had on him. He should not be scrutinized for some political situations happening in Afghanistan. That was a sporting event interview and that reporter did ask an irrelevant and insensitive question for a sporting event. Being an asshole of a journalist that he is, he just wanted to sensationalised the Afghanistan situation and put Khabib in a hot spot. Muslim brothers do not fall victims to the media (West) intention of sowing discords among us. Stay united. InshaAllah. And for peace and the safety of everyone.
