Using backgrounds from to designate the added color would be good.
I like where Stephen was heading, but I think that adding red to Aesi, Tyrant of Gyre Straight would have been even better.
Aesi itself is already a good commander, but adding that Valakut package seems like a great idea.
I already have an Aesi deck that is almost entirely ramp and lands matter cards with the wincon being Laboratory Maniac. It's a LOT of fun to just draw my entire deck by playing lands over and over again from either my hand or my graveyard.

If you want to try this out with a different commander, I suggest omnath, locus of creation. I end up doing valakut and omnath for 7 each land
would love to see some of the og Kamigawa legends with an extra colour.
This concept looks like fun. I enjoy watching you guys, the content is 5 star. Can I make a suggestion the next time you run this format: use prismatic pipers to identify the added colour. These commanders can have a special partner rule like they did with Commander Masters. My home group plays mono colour Commanders special partner rule and that makes for some fun games. Thanks for the content and never let Cory win any games, JK.
Seeing Jon play mill reminds me of the episodes where Stephen would have a hidden mill theme then mill Justin 😂😂😂

i like the add a colour eps alot. the asuza deck looked fun. scarab god makes tokens and great henge does specify nontoken. alot of cards were drawn off it but the sheer value of bringing the cards back was prob enough that it really didnt matter. especially with bowmaster out

Appreciate Corey drawing all those cards off of great henge and buffing the reanimated TOKENS, love how there was a bit about him not reading cards at the beginning with the sphinx and then did it again anyway. In fairness he was in Jeremy's seat so he was allowed to "misplay"

Add a color is one of my favorite deck building ¿restrictions? since you get to build the deck slightly more like it's a modern or legacy highlander deck instead of a commander deck.

Fun fact if you have a consecrated sphinx and your opponent has a notion thief you can mill them out.
Consecrated sphinx is a may draw, but notion thief is a must draw ;)

Waiting on the version of one of every legendary Permanent type as your commander. One legendary Creature, Land, Artifact, Enchantment and Planeswalker. Land in the Command Zone, why not. Commander color is equal to all Permanent type.
Why do I want to play Grand Augustin with green? Am I evil?

A commander i would really love to have another color is either Don Andres or the new Ghonti from OTJ.
Eithe Ghonti with addes red or Don Andres with green. It would be even better if they could partner with each other.
It would be an interesting game to choose any 2 commanders to partner together

i feel like it would be more "fun" to just make everyone have to play with Faceless One or The Prismatic Piper as a secondary commander, which would remove a card from the ninety nine.
Cory asked Jeremy if he has to misplay as much as him when we all know Corey misplay more than anybody else on the show and doesn't know the rules
You may not have watched this series for that long but Jeremy notoriously misplays all the time since he joined the show like 8 years ago
You mean Jon, right? They all misplaced a lot. It's at least 2 ppl a game
Actually out of all of them Corey misplays about 3-5% of the time and yes he’s still new to the commander vs but let’s not forget when he started on vs live he misplayed only 5% of the time but doesn’t matter he always gets ganged up on by the rest which if I was there I would slap them back handed and say didn’t your mother teach you that being a bully is wrong second of all Steven needs to get over himself he’s not that good at commander neither is the rest Justin was the best and now that role is being filled by Corey but Corey isn’t Justin

@@Dark-Pikachu1 exactly even me being a 24yr veteran of the game I still misplay about 10% of the time but than again I have mental retardation what’s they’re excuse lol
I wish they would change the rules to allow for any mono color deck add an additional color. It would make those commander's more playable.

1st episode of the season I found boring. Cheers for the episode though guys.
This was one of the worst Commander games I've ever seen thanks to Stevens pettiness towards Jon and also the barrage of misplays from Corey with the Scarab God Tokens together with Great Henge
What a waste for a really cool episode idea
Do you know how many times Jon has knocked people out of the game when they are in the position he was? He was playing Blue black with a Midnight clock in play. He was 1 round away from possibly being the biggest threat. You might say that's a possibility and not a fact, well Steven didn't even get to where he was naturally in this game, he was milled so many cards by Jon to get to that position. A new grip in Blue/Black is scary. He was three points ahead of Jon and if he wants to win the season he needed to take him out first.
I don't think it was petty of Steven to kill Jon. When you're in first the best thing you can do is kill the guy in second, because then the gap between you and him grows.
You must be so much fun to be sround..
You must suck at strategy games. If you are in first and points matter the person you kill asap is 2nd place. Common sense. Corey would have won without the misplay so that point is mute.
