Best logo in sports. And I will always love that NHL logo in black and orange. Silver is nice. But the classic is classic.

I want to appreciate the design of their AHL affiliate: clearly linked to the Flyers without copying their nickname and/or jersey template. That is great branding right there.
I seem to be in the minority when I say I can see notable differences in their jerseys across eras. The 80s-90s-early 00s look has piping and different sleeve cuffs, the 60s-70s/2010s are much more basic with no piping and smaller cuffs. The Reebok jerseys seem to be very unpopular, but I’ve always liked (note: not loved) them as their era is when I became a Flyers fan.
The 2012 Winter Classic though, is one that I agree with. I wish I had that jersey and I wish those had been their primary homes and an away version was created.
I like the piping. Brings a little more black to it. But the all black is ugly.
The only Flyers jersey I ever had was a Jeff Carter jersey. Once Michkov comes over I’ll definitely be getting his jersey
The Phantoms crest may be the best in the AHL
I’m a Philly native and I’ve been a Flyers fan since 1980. I for one love the fact that we’ve never changed the logo and may that always be.
A big NO on them going to that 3d logo. It was abysmal then and would still be now.

The Flyers honestly had the perfect jersey design for a hom and away with their reverse retros as long as the burnt orange was there. The rebrand for this year is close to it but I really love the 2021 reverse retro. That one to me was the quintessential Flyers jersey.

As a Flyers fan I agree with you that the Winter Classic jersey is the best Flyers jersey imo.
The second stadium series jerseys bug me because of how lazy they were with the design as they just flipped the colors.

One of the nice things that came out of the 'Class of '67' expansion group was the introduction of new colors to the NHL palette. Orange of the Flyers, Purple and gold of the Kings, Green for the North Stars and Seals.
I would *really* love to see some sort of Quakers-inspired jersey the next time we're in aWinter Classic. Feels like too big of an opportunity to pass up on considering theres not much else for us to throwback to!
When you pulled that Craig Barube old 3rd jersey where they went crazy with the logo. I can still remember THE BRAWL between Philly and Ottawa. They wore that jersey when that happened. So iconic
The Flyers first reverse retro 1.0 is underrated in my opinion…I think it’s sharp

My brother has a game used Cochrane jersey. Not a Flyers fan here but always loved their colors, image etc and always entertaining when they came to town.

Agreed. In person you can see the clever use of different shades of silver in the stitching, so even the original is nicer than it gets credit for.

Give it a few years with the Fedetov ruling Michov being a few years out. I think Gauhtier and Matvei will be a killer duo. Iblike the way Danny and Torts and Jonsey have a possible vision to steer this ship correctly
Hot take (maybe)…I very much like the bright orange
The Bob Clarke sweater is nice, but the original flyers color was a blood orange, much darker than the traffic cone shade they've transitioned to. Oldschool sweaters were so much better imo.
Also, the new "burnt orange" they're going with is also much brighter and closer to a traffic cone than the original color

The Flyers All Orange stadium series jersey when they played at the Linc. Its pretty much a copy cat of their farm teams (Phantoms) jersey when they played Hershey in the outdoor game at Hersheypark stadium

The black 90's flyers jersey is IMO their best ever. Love everything about it.

the winter classic is by far my favorite of our jerseys. the coloring, the design, the sweaterness. glad i got one for giroux before he was traded.

Fun fact: you can (loosely) date Phantoms jerseys based on the highlight color. They changed it from purple to blue when they moved to the Lehigh Valley.
Phantoms have moved a ton. In the 15 ish years I’ve been following hockey they’ve been in 3 places off the top of my head (Philly, Adirondack, LV)
@@TylerJohnstonGuitar Without looking it up I think that's it. They started moving once they tore down the spectrum. They were supposed to move to LV from that point on but they had to wait on the PPL Center to be built. Debate about eminent domain ended up stalling it a bit iirc. I was like 15 when that started though so there's probably more to it than that

Everyone hates the silver logo, but I liked it. Didnt "love" it, but "like" it. I think its polarizing enough that they'd not use it again - which is how the abomination of the orange and black logo on the orange stadium series jersey happened :P

Although I’m a Penguins fan and I do have some flyers, jerseys and hats, I don’t wear them, but I’ve always liked their jerseys. I didn’t mind the traffic cone, orange, color and design, but I do agree that the burnt orange does look nicer. That fires jersey that THG says was his favorite is also my favorite one. And I know most people didn’t like the stadium series jersey that is all orange with a little bit of black striping that they used against Pittsburgh. Hi, I really like both Pittsburgh and Philadelphia’s jerseys. I also really liked both reverse retro jerseys. I want to wear that reverse retro one point I was so bad.

The CCM Clarke jersey I’ve never liked. It’s basically the 2010s jersey. The one he actually wore was burnt Orange almost red.
The older M&N is sadly the only jersey they have done that’s close to that style of jersey.

That Craig Berube sweater bothers me greatly. He didn't wear 17 during that stint with the team. He wore 34. I know that's stupid to point out but as a superfan and self-appointed historian it eats away at me every time I see it.
big brain 4D chess: they went back to burnt orange so that the eventual expansion of the Milwaukee Muskies can use bright orange so that Wisconsinites can just wear hunting gear to the games, easier to get folks in the door lol
Am I the only one who thinks that the logo looks like a flying birds profile, feathers/wings on the left and the head on the right, with the orange dot representing the right eye? Somebody else?
I will say between both Flyers Reverse Retro jerseys the RR 1.0 jersey is way better than their RR 2.0 RR jersey

how bout a Flyers alternate jersey with the Rocky statue on it ? no details of the statue just the outline. The Clark OG jersey and the Lindros era black are the best in my opinion.
I remember when you got that glorious 50th jersey, but they forgot to take the security tag off. So I took it to the Canucks Store where I worked at the time and took it off for you lol. That’s a beaut of a jersey. Maybe my favourite Flyers jersey. Wish they’d bring it back. Maybe make a home version as well.
