Finally, the stressful college application season ended!!! (Let me know if you want my stats)
I am an International Student from Taiwan.
This video documents my college application journey. I look rough because the timzone is in the morning, at 8am. I may appear pessimistic in the video, but it’s because I’m tooooooo nervous. (Featuring an exclusive reaction video from my friend)

Hi Serena, I noticed you didn't block out your personal info from your video. If you ever come to the USA to study and to live, you have to be more careful about personal safety issues. This includes exposing personal info online. BTW, I've been to Yilan, Taiwan. It's a beautiful rustic city. I visited the bee/honey farm and Kavalan distillery there. you are SO SO wrong about choosing a college based on other people's opinion.... I know Taiwan like a lot of asian countries is very toxic when it comes to education, but please...in the US or in Europe (where im from), it does not work that way.....And thinking about other people when you are struggling in college is not the best solution, go get some professional help instead...I am speaking from experience, so please stop spreading toxic views about college.
You should be so proud of your achievements but please don’t listen to Jon. Nobody will care what you uni you went to after a few years in the workforce as you will continue to grow and evolve and look to your future. All the best with your undergrad studies :)

Heyyy, yes I applied mainly through common app and the application fee on average is around $80 per school (UCs have a similar fee)
I got waitlisted from Stanford. The desicions haven’t come out yet. What should I do?
heyy! I think few ppl get waitlisted at Stanford, so that's pretty good! You should definitely write a love letter/update letter to Stanford. Good luck!
How did you apply to US unis? did you take SAT or TOEFL or something else?
As an international student, I took the SAT, SAT Subject Tests, TOEFL, and AP. Stay tuned for my stats vid!

I applied in early oct(cuz I also submitted oxford) and got the acceptance in early dec

Thanks! I chose CALS cuz it fits my major better. I don't think it has a higher acceptance rate (but CALS requires more STEM classes)

Hey, you have such a nice personality, but it is a bummer that those decisions aren't genuine. If you already opened the decisions before, why make a colle decision reactions video? Not hating cause the video is so good, but just would have liked to see the first time opening them.
lol, all the video recording of my reaction was my first time opening them; the screen recording of the decision letter is edited later on (thus some letters were already opened)
