So billet just means that it started out as a solid block of metal and is CNC'd into a lower. There are mainly two types of AR-10 patterns, The Armalite which the rear of the lower is more squared and DPMS style which is more curved like the AR-15 lower you showed... that's what sucks about the AR-10, there isn't really a set standard and not all parts are interchangeable between them.

Also, to answer one of your other questions, the Ruger is pretty decent and could go for some upgrades. Have you maybe thought about building your own though? Its super easy, gain tons of knowledge about your guns, you acquire tools to be able to work on your gun, you get exactly what you want, and its super satisfying to put something together yourself and it shoot sub MOA. LMK if you want any recommendations, I can definitely put you on to some good shit

Billet is the composition of the metal vs forging which is another method of composition. Billet is usually cut vs forged is like cut, banged, bent. etc...LOL Learned this from cars. Racecar pistons are usually billet, forged, or some other ish.

For that Ruger 556 I would just say to get extra parts like a spare BCG, gas block, gas tube, and maybe a few trigger springs. The barrel should hold up well past 30000 rds. Just make sure to keep a list of all the parts that are known to fail and keep extras. Done it with my M$P 15 Sport 2 and for my Radical Firearms RF-15. Shot over 7000rds through both, haven’t had any problems thus far. Now I’m looking at Galil Ace 2 and that PSA Saber AR-10. After seeing your video on it, I decided to grab one. I hate that I can’t hunt with it in Ohio though😢. Straight wall cartridges only or shotguns. Don’t mind that option too much because of my AR-12
PSA I think a company name CCS makes the saber grips and stocks I don't know who makes their triggers because my saber has a hyper fire trigger in it

Just something to think about before you tuck a suppressor on the 300blk. A suppressor will heat up the handguard stupid fast, and the mlok slots that cover the can will be unusable. You dont really gain anything besides weight, unless you just want it for the looks.

If you clean your light. Then take a drop of gun oil and wipe it on the lens of the light, the carbon buildup just wipes right off
