I run a $800 Aero Precision build without an adjustable gas block with a YHM suppressor. I run both subs and supers have not had any reliability issues at all.

Magnifier will always come in handy. Very useful for PID, BDA and recognizance purposes. If it's not being used, flip it to the side like it's designed to.

Y’all tripping thinking you have to pick subs or supers when running .300AAC/BLK the whole point of the system is to be able to switch from stealthy heavy metal subsonic ammunition to .30caliber supers that strike like lightning all with the change of a magazine! If your platform isn’t doing that I don’t care what name is on it or how much you spent for it you are just feeding your ego and missing the entire point of the cartridge and platform! Get you a .300AAC/BLK/WHISPER that runs and you will be able to rock subs and supers NP with no adjustable gas block or ANYTHING
(Ones you have a system that is capable of running subs and supers flawlessly you will be ready to rock and roll! Do your HW on how .300BLK out was made2be ready2rock&roll📚)

Pay attention to the way the shells are ejecting, GHG is getting a good 3 oclock yours is going at like 5 oclock. That normaling means that is is short stroking, which could me you need a lighter buffer, adjustable gas block and tune the SSS Spring

a magnifier is great if u need to focus ur shots. i just got my folding stock adapter for my ARP after that my setup is finished. so hype!
on my dd pdw I am running subs and a direct thread nomad-30, you don't need a magnifier just with the bullet drop alone. It won't be useful and just adds weight. This gun was purpose built at least for me, to give my wife and kids something they can easily pickup and defend the house. If I am expecting a fight past 25 yards, I wouldn't be using this gun to do it. MK18 or Krink all day for truck gun but If I wasn't running a can and using supers I could see why to put the magnifier on it.
if you trying to fit a light and Illuminator/laser plus backup irons, get something like Hydra mount (but look at slades @ S/C Irregulars not gbrs)

My DDM4 PDW came with two springs. One, came installed, is for subsonic ammo and the extra spring is for supersonic plus subsonic suppressed.

Get a can for that 300 Chris. And put the bcm vertical grip Mod3 and you can keep the brace on it. Take their magnifier off. If you get a light get the Mod button. Takes up less real estate.

Don't take the magnifier off it allows you to make your point of impact smaller so more accurate shots if you take it off put on a acog and canted irons and a beam

@Christv When you have an adjustable gas block, there is NO SUCH THING as the gun being built for either subsonic or supersonic in this platform.... Thats one of the BIGGEST pros of an adjustable gas block (No buffer swapping).... And as far as cleanliness goes, typically a 9 inch barrel is what gets you full powder burn on .300.... So with sub or super .300 in a DI (Direct Impingement) gun with that short of a barrel will always have more buildup on the BCG and upper then what you would typically see in other longer length rifles that are DI also, no matter super or sub.... But Subs will no matter what always run dirtier cause of the lower pressures causing even more unburnt powder, double whammy.
It's dirty because of the suppressor.

If you oil your equipment carbon will be seperated from the metal, also if you have a really good bcg it comes off even easier.

300 blk out are ment to be supressed it's a subsonic round will be extremely quiet in combat with suppression also take in mined that u can over Gass and wear out parts faster with suppression

Whether you’re right or wrong about that magnifier, it’s good to at least experience the idea in its entirety. Later if you decide, you can always swap it to an any gun you see fit. I can’t speak on every person viewing your content, but I’m glad you’re willing to experiment and present your journey

An SBR is best with a holographic sight. Your eyes don’t need to search for the dot… faster target acquisition, even if you don’t have a silent buffer to negate muzzle rise. Red dots with magnifies are more for Recce’s… the middle between CQB and distance. 300BO will drop pretty fast suppressed…
Nah, you're essentially trading 3x the weight and a trash battery life for a window that's a little bit bigger. Also, target acquisition doesn't mean what you think it means, its literally the opposite of what you said. If you're not running nods and you are still having trouble finding the dot, that just means you don't train.
