Giving off proper Grant Mitchell vibes here. Both characters had very similar backstories come to think of it, even though both actors couldn’t be any more different. Love that Sean still graces us with the odd cameo, even if it is just via Zoom.

Circa 2011/12 some people compared the likes of Tyler and Anthony to him (as if Kirkwood hailing them as the new Mitchell brothers wasn’t had enough). Certain people shouldn’t be equated in the same sentence (or at all).

Am confused if Stacey and Jean told the police that Sean was missing then surely it would have flagged up when he joined the army that he was a missing person?

2006 is one of the most criminally-underrated years in EastEnders’ history. I know it seemed back coming off the back of the hottest chunks of 2005 (definitely the best year since 2001/02, and hasn’t been topped since) and the future veritable highs of later 2007/Santer’s era (not that 2007 as a whole was all that) but there are more highlights than most people care to remember. The Denise/Owen domestic abuse storyline (short-lived as it was) was everything the Grey/Chantelle stuff could’ve been but wasn’t (not that the last part of it wasn’t good) for a story that wasn’t even trying to be Little Mo/Trevor like that, not forgetting Libby getting drowned so brutally. Billy/Honey/Janet; Sean’s entrance; everything to do with Jean, Bradley and Stacey (you’d have to go to 2009 to find a year when either of those three were as well-characterised); Mad May’s entrance and Ian/Jane’s wedding were also good (ditto for the first handful of weeks, when Sharon was coping with Dennis’ death). I know we’ll never forget Sonia/Naomi, Get Johnny Week (Phil. was too overweight and Danny to fleeting for any of it to mean anything credibility-wise) and Pauline and Ruby’s character assassinations for all the wrong reasons but as a set piece it’s no better or worse than anything from 2007 to 2010. Certain elements to do with character ideation and day-to-day fluidity were actually probably better overall. It was just a bit dull sometimes. So it actually annoys me when people over-exaggerate how bad 2006 was just because Chrissie or Lucas weren’t in it. It wasn’t too bad at all for a transitional year,

Dude - you seriously need to relax with the asinine "underrated" (worse..."criminally underrated years in EastEnder's history." You sound like a psychopath.

A great character.. he would blow and he could lose his temper at any time. He might beat Dan Sullivan or Phil Mitchell in a tear up.
He would not handle Grant Mitchell or Dennis Rickman though. Them two literally were in a league of their own. Dennis would've smashed him here.

Sullivan would finish Dennis and as for Dennis beating Sean I don’t think he would, Dennis was fearless but Sean was way more aggressive.
