B-17G Flying Fortress "Sentimental Journey" Sunset Arrival at YYJ

The Commemorative Air Force (CAF) flew both their B-25J "Maid in the Shade" and this B-17G "Sentimental Journey" to YYJ during the summer. Both aircraft were available to the public for rides.

Very inspiring. My father trained as a B-17 radio operator/gunner. He didn't fly any missions but his association with the airplane sparked a life long interest in me in Flying Fortresses.

Saw this beauty at the Abby Airshow several years ago. Still kicking myself for cheaping out and passing on the rides they were giving after the show. Nice sunset shots.
