Should you bake it to set the mod podge and glitter before adding the final vinyl or does it not matter? Most videos i see for peek a boo glasses have them bake it, but they are jot using vinyl under the glitter.

Should the vinyl be sealed with the mod podge as well and would it leave streaks

I do not recommend sealing the vinyl on glass because it will definitely leave streaks. Just make sure you clean the glass really well before you apply the vinyl and you should be good to go.🙂

Have you found that when mod podge is used as a sealing coat that it turns kind of milky or yellow color over time? And ruins the clean look of the final coat? I have heard this from other crafters.

Hi Debbie, I have not had that problem when covering glitter for this type of project (I could maybe see that happening on white glitter, but haven't run into that issue before). You could have that occur if you cover the glass part with Mod Podge. I do not recommend sealing the vinyl part of the glass with the Mod Podge.

Hello how long do you leave the tape on before removing? I always have the worse line. Do you wait until they are fully dry or before. Thanks in advance!!!

Hi! I left the tape on while the last layer of Mod Podge dried for 24 hours and it worked out fine. I've seen others recommend taking the tape off before the Mod Podge dries to get a cleaner line as well. In the future, I will probably take the tape off after it's dried for just a couple of hours.

Did you seal your vinyl on the top of the glass with anything?

Hi Madisyn, I don't recommend sealing the vinyl on the glass with anything as it would likely leave marks on the glass. Just wipe down the glass with alcohol and a lint-free cloth before applying the vinyl and you should be good to go. For long-term use, I also recommend hand washing these glasses.

Can you use a normal brush ?
