- The great thing about my island escape is that despite the river being extremely busy, NOBODY else bothers going back there. First off, the low tide early in the day made it just about impossible. Then there's the fact that only kayaks can make it through the tunnels when the water decides to come back in. And then there's the mud. Without boots and a willingness to get at least a little filthy, very few people will bother to forge all the way through to the high ground. The isolation once you're back there though, is just what the doctor ordered.
You know what I love about Marty? He's just so genuine. In the age where everyone shoves their videos with ads, links to merch stores, asking for OnlyFans, etc. Marty keeps his description box literally just talking about the video with not even a link to his boat business. He doesn't even end his video off with any links, or even telling us to subscribe! Such a genuine man.
At times like that, my dad used to have a saying he used. We'd be fishing and he'd look at me and say "son, I wonder what the poor people are doing?" We didn't have a thing, but we were rich at that moment, doing what we enjoyed.
Does anyone just wake up and watch the life of Marty that is so chill before they do schoolwork reply if u do

Super glad to hear you are going to be able to open soon. Here in Polk County they opened many of the waterways on this past Friday. I loaded up my kayak and hit the water with a friend on my neighborhood lake. It was so great to get back out there. Many of the State Parks open Monday which are a bulk of my on water reviews so that’s great. Super glad to hear your landlord helped you out and your stimulus arrived. Summer is rapidly approaching and as normal I would have shut down season 4 the 1st of June, so I might do one more review before shutdown. But I will make the trip up there to meet you. Thanks for all you have done during this trying time.

Thankfully, I have been able to retire before all this hit the fan. And then I'll be putting along in my bass boat thinking you know...sometimes there are days when being retired sucks....then I punch the throttle and jump on plane and get the warm wind blasting in my face, mixed with some beer suds...and then I think...BUT THIS DAY AIN'T ONE OF'M!! YEAH!!!! Best of things, Marty! Kick butt, buddy!
