ARES K98k seems interesting, since you can get it with ZF39 unlike 90 % of the K98K on the market which utilize crappy ZF41. Quality seems overall to better than in S&T & Snow Wolf K98K.
You can install a ZF39 on the S&T/SW K98 as well. Just need to drill and tap the receiver. It's how they do it on the Ares one anyway, just take a normal non-scoped one and drill/tap.
I installed a RSM ZF39 on my S&T K98. Takes a bit of skill and you really have to align everything properly, but it can be done. The diameter of the receiver is identical to a real one so turret scope mounts fit perfectly.
Is there a chance you guys gona make an Upgrade kit for the S&T Kar98k ANother Version?
Hello, sorry we have no plans to make upgrade parts for S&T 98K Another ver., the internally we still think the old ver. Kaer98K is better, thank you.

目前現有的版本槍機座應該仍是亞鉛製品，之後應該會出"幾乎"全鋼製版本，但售價也就較高了。關於STRIKER系列的HOP座目前應該是沒有列入計畫...

Which parts are steel and which are other metals?

The information on ARES official website : 95% Made of Grade 304 Stainless Steel with QPQ Finishing. Maybe someone will make a video soon to introduce the unboxing on YT :)
@@TAIWANTNTSTUDIO That video is heavily needed... I understand the 95%, but for example the receiver and the bolt are made of steel? those are the heavier parts to mill. I wouldnt want to have the bolt lever bent or broken because its made in Al or pot metal.
@@Machiflores I have it at Home, and i cant find any other metal than steel anywhere.... I can guarantee you, the bolt lever and the receiver is fully steel. Pistontube and the parts on it also. This beauty can get tuned nicely for a stronger spring. Its nice and grippy, like the original who i shot too.
Instant love from me at the first moment i hold it in my hand on the playfield. This K98 feels like the original one.
It seems ARES is learning some things or two.
@@ottonormal3354 To back up your comments Otto, I have the version with the ZF 39 scope and can also confirm just the same that this is excellently made and feels beautiful in your hands. The scope is also well made and fits perfectly on the turrets. Same again as soon as I held it I was hooked.
