Very fascinating rock formation and learn the past climate changes cause those paint on the hills if I am not mistaken. Mother Earth's humor? punishment? play? I would say "work of art." It's some rather unique geology of iron oxides from changing climate over time. Oregon has so much to offer! And gosh, sorry to hear that you got banged up, you go for it with your adventures!
