i keep looking at this video and thinking how it was posted 8 months ago and then i think about how all time just keeps moving forward fast and that haikyu came out in like, 2014 and i keep getting so confused. Every damn time I think about my comfort characters, I get a warm feeling. Then it's a straight drop down when I have to tell myself they're not real and I get really sad after. Then I cry while listening to these kinds of playlists
I'm pretty sure I have maladaptive daydream, or it's just a really overactive imagination
It makes it so I can imagine either a nonexistent person or character in the same place I am, imagining them in our world and providing comfort or encouragement. Even just them being there, or us hanging out together. I can hear their voice and sometimes, if I feel a deep connection or love for that character, I can almost feel their touch and sense their presence.
Might just be going crazy though, I don't know
I can also imagine myself in their world, but it's harder to do and feels less real
and no, that's not shifting, I know that much
It also works with music or videos. I can hear music and there's almost always something playing in my head. If I zone out, there's a high chance that I'm either listening to music or placing myself inside their world, maybe just making myself hear their voice.
