- Adam Newman was introduced to The Young and the Restless in 1995. Over the years, the fan-favorite character has been portrayed by various actors.
Chris Engen played the role from 2008 to 2009, following which fan-favorite star Michael Muhney took over. He was on the show until 2014 when Justin Hartley was hired to recast the character. Justin left in 2016 after his character was killed.
The writers have brought Adam back from the dead and Mark Grossman is the latest actor to take on the part. In honor of Adam’s return, let’s take a look back at these 12 facts about the character that most people probably didn’t know until now.

Love Adam. Does not deserve the pictures that his siblings have labeled him with. They had him portraying some terrible things but he had been hurt mentally. He should have been shown more love in his younger years
