- Never heard these versions,or knew they existed...The Rumour has it is much different than the album version, If you have a Donna Collection, this version of ONce Upon a Time has a fadeout ,so you can add to your best of cd, Winter Melody is very short. The LIve version of Someone to watch over me that concludes the video is incredible. Enjoy all DS fans!

Still crushing ❤️🔥
This has long been one of my favorite D.S. songs.
Glad I have all of her 45s AND L.P.s - She was appreciated and revered in her own time - and, still an icon, and her music is oh soooo fresh - RIP Donna - thank you for these great songs here - DAVEDJ
Donna was GREAT, saw her live at the Brooklyn Academy of Music when MacArthur Park was released, atrue performer and vocalist unlike today's packaged singers..JMO.
Love you Donna, you brought back my spark. R. I. P Queen
Thanks for posting all the positive images of Donna Summers it really touches you inside
Donna Summer.....la perfezione fatta musica.
I worshipped her when I was young and only came to appreciate her incredible voice as I got older. So nostalgic and still saddened by her passing. I cling to the hope she never said the hateful th8ngs she did about gays . I still love her
Robert Stalnaker .. She did not. It was made up. I believe it was an Aretha Franklin fan who made that rumor #allegedly ..
I completely agree with you. I think it was A&E Biography that showed her in tears vehement in her denial of those comments. RIP DONNA❤
She didn't
Robert, take a listen to the 'Live & More' double album & hear just what she says before she sings the song 'The man I love'. She sings it to all the women out there & some of the men too. That came from her heart. She had no problem with gay guys. It was a nasty media frenzy. Love is Love & Donna knew that.
This is the bass you would have heard on the floor. Not a typical disco piece, lots of soul and funk. Probably the most popular part of the record for dancers. This is the dance mix-defiinititve, Turns it into quite a number that everybody dug. And Donna's records had these suites, broken up with serious funk instrumentals. All kinds of instrumental stuff all over the place.
Walter Pewen I agree with you totally
So true.....
Had a great listens and watching pleasure.
Always sounds great.
Absolutely beautiful! Thanks
MAGNIFICA VERSIÓN .
l'une de s'es meilleur chanson
amazing, very good years
Identical to the first album, a fadeout can 't justify the word "rare"
Wow. Just wow. Thank you so much for posting this! :-D
I've been rediscovering those early studio concept albums Donna released between "Love to Love You Baby" and "Bad Girls." They include: "A Love Trilogy," "Four Seasons of Love," "I Remember Yesterday," and "Once Upon a Time." In retrospect, I'm finding that they are brilliantly crafted, and still hold up today. If Donna were in her mid-twenties, newly signed to some big record company today, she could steal the whole game as a concept album artist.
That's essentially what she was, given the time. Moroder discovered her, she went to Casablanca Records, and it all started. In comparison to all the disco records being made at the time, there was no match. They knew what they had. She got the best material, and then she started to write herself. About the only person/group to come out of the scene with a stellar record catalog. It was not an accident.
Karim Bennett amen you speak the truth
2tonsolid no. Most of that material was mostly written by Moroder & Bellotte.
excelente....!!!!!
la più pazzesca singer-female che abbia mai ascoltato....
thank you xxx
