This looks absolutely delicious because I'm happy that is made from scratch and not from a cake box. You know sometimes we got to go back to the old ways how our parents taught us how to cook. Y’all!!! I just made this today 1/06/2021. WHEN I TELL YOU IT IS THE BOMB! Super moist, soft and tender on the inside. Nice crisp crumb on the outside!! 👏🏾👏🏾🤤 BAHBEH!! This was my fist time EVER making a pound cake and my husband said, “Baby this is the best cake I ever had” ITS GOOD YALL! Make this! Mine cooked for an hour. Every oven is different. I started checking mine at 45mins then every 5mins. 👌🏾

The Duncan Hines Butter cake mix has baking powder and baking soda in it. If you use this instead of plain flour, it will rise too much and will overflow your baking pan.

This is the way I make a cream cheese pound cake for 3yrs now. I don't see many use the full pound of butter either.... usually 3 sticks, and sometimes shortening. I just had two cakes go out today. Tfs

I tasted a cream cheese pound cake once when I was a teenager. I was at a department store and it was so delicious. I tried to make it at home when I got a little older just throwing everything in at the same time. Horrible. Never tried it again but I will try this one since I know what I did wrong. I made this cake last night . So I am one of those that like to try a piece of cake while hot . This is not the cake to eat right out of the oven. Put it this way I almost threw it in the trashcan 😭😭😂😂. Me being me decide to wait until the morning ( lazy) good thing because when I tell you this cake was awesome yes awesome so for me it need to cool down some. After that don't hurt yourself eating cake lol . I love it . Thank you so much .

I also found that from store bought some convection stoves need and can be adjusted temperature found in the manuals. My new stove have to be increased about 25 degrees so that 350 would heat as such. Or when using convection it calls for lower temperature than regular.
Love cheese cakes and love pound cakes. I would agree with you in regards to the convection ovens but you forgot to take note of the altitude of your location as well as the humidity of the air. Whenever the bundt pan is used, it generally takes us close to 55 minutes to 75 minutes, so I was surprised when you said 45 minutes. Oh well, we all live and learn. Thank you for sharing. 👍😀🍁

I made this cake last night . So I am one of those that like to try a piece of cake while hot . This is not the cake to eat right out of the oven. Put it this way I almost threw it in the trashcan 😭😭😂😂. Me being me decide to wait until the morning ( lazy) good thing because when I tell you this cake was awesome yes awesome so for me it need to cool down some. After that don't hurt yourself eating cake lol . I love it . Thank you so much .

I also found that from store bought some convection stoves need and can be adjusted temperature found in the manuals. My new stove have to be increased about 25 degrees so that 350 would heat as such. Or when using convection it calls for lower temperature than regular.
Love cheese cakes and love pound cakes. I would agree with you in regards to the convection ovens but you forgot to take note of the altitude of your location as well as the humidity of the air. Whenever the bundt pan is used, it generally takes us close to 55 minutes to 75 minutes, so I was surprised when you said 45 minutes. Oh well, we all live and learn. Thank you for sharing. 👍😀🍁
