Police PULL OVER, suspend, and state ref Elantra N owner for driving in TRACK mode CAR IS STOCK!!!

As a car lover I hate to see stuff like this happen I have an AA in criminal justice so I feel knowledgeable on this. I Also live in CA and this is one of those cases that really makes me not like being here sometimes. Elantra N owner was just driving around in track mode and got pulled over and hasn't been allowed to drive his car since... even tho it is stock this video shares my options I would also like to know how everyone else is feeling about this crazy stupid situation.

Track mode is legal the cop is lying its like if a cop tells me I'm not aloud to drive my forte gt in sport mode I'll tell the cop off and be like no its not illegal don't lie

Yea the CA cop was in the wrong here its so ridiculous I had to cover this story... not right at all
