    Hi Friends 👋 👋 Thank you so much for your support. Please remember, for the best viewing experience, go to the 3 dots in the upper right corner, to settings and select quality, then choose HD resolution in advance (1080p up to 4K) sometimes with slower connections, CZcams automatically selects a lower resolution 😀

    Thank you for taking the time to show the road! I am thinking of moving and it's good to know the roads aren't all neat and tidy as I have seen in other travel vlogs. The road I currently live on is just dirt, full of hills and puddles that fill the entire road from one side to the other that are probably 10 feet or more in length then freeze into solid ice all spring and fall. lol So I find these little back roads in PR charming and comforting. :)

      Hi there and thanks for your comment! If you're a fan of messy and wild roads, Puerto Rico is the perfect place for you!! The mountains are actually full of dirt roads that go nowhere, or take you in circles, or sometimes bring you to magical places 😀

    Great video. Love it how you adventure, explore, and appreciate my beloved Puerto Rico. Some great river/waterfall/swimming spots that I would recommend are Gozalandia, Las Tinajas, Las Paylas (Las Pailas), Charco El Hippie, Charco Azul/Cuevas Arenales, Juan Diego Falls, Charco Azul in Canon De San Cristobal, Rio Tanama, and Charco Azul in Patillas to name a few.

      Saludos! Thank you! There are so many incredible and beautiful places to visit in PR. Truly a paradise! Gozalandia is so cool!, kind of crowded but beautiful. Also, las Pailas (Difficult parking but amazing place!) Charco Azul, we actually visited charcho azul before the pandemic and when we arrived, there was a couple cleaning and taking care of the area, so we joined them and had a great day helping out. The other places that you mention, we are going to take notes!! We really want to visit them all! Gracias!

      @@natalieandgabriel Some destinations are best enjoyed through a guided tour. Some areas are pretty remote, and just dangerous to do by yourself. That's why even though they are not cheap, I recommend a guided tour of Rio Tanama, Charco Azul in El Canon de San Cristobal, and South El Yunque. There are different options as far as the tour company that you use, but I used Montana Explora for South El Yunque, and El Canon de San Cristobal. I would recommend them. They are gonna give you an experience that you just can not achieve on your own. Please don't think I'm pushing Montana Explora. There are other people you could use.

    Interesting town and hikes, do the rivers become dangerous in the rainy season; August?

    • @natalieandgabriel
      @natalieandgabriel  Před rokem +1

      Hi! After or during a big rain, all the rivers in Puerto Rico can become dangerous. There are plenty of dry days in August though, if you are thinking of visiting then! For the most part, rivers aren't really a problem unless you are thinking of swimming in them 😀

    Hey Natalie and Gabriel how do you manage to fly the drone down in the river, I didn't have any cell signal or satellite lock.

    • @natalieandgabriel
      @natalieandgabriel  Před 2 lety +1

      Hi!! If you have a DJI drone, you need to go to security and safety and disable the sensors and it will let you fly without GPS signal or safety sensors but be careful because controls are 100% manual. Hope it helps! And thank you so much for your great suggestion! 👍

      So just to be clear, you found hotels or Airbnb‘s on the drive daily? I’m just asking because I’m planning a trip and I’m not sure if I should make reservations ahead of time or just get a rental car and go. Thank you for any suggestions I truly appreciate it.

    • @natalieandgabriel
      @natalieandgabriel  Před 2 lety

      Depends on the season, but we mostly drive around and return to our house since we live in PR. We stayed in Utuado in an Airbnb that we found a few days before we decided to go to Utuado, but the other towns we visited, we didn't need to stay anywhere since we drove home the same day. I would suggest that you find the places you want to stay beforehand since sometimes they are all booked, even more during weekend. If you want to drive through the mountains of PR, I would say Airbnb, not that many hotel options, but bigger cities like San Juan, Mayaguez, Aguadilla, Ponce have plenty of hotels. During summer it's more difficult. We just return from a hotel in Aguadilla that we reserved 3 days ago when we decided to go to a beach in that area for a future snorkeling video, and there was occupancy but a week ago, it was all reserved. We hope you can find great places and have an amazing time. 👏 -Gabriel.
