I think King easily beats a lot of lower rank casual players because lack of matchup knowledge and throw breaking.

50/50 mid low with 50/50 grabs I like tekken because your not guessing on grabs das why I stopped play Mk, fighting king I feel like im on Mk
I have S× Escape Artist. I've always been good a throw escape. Including pre 7 Tekken where you couldn't just guess 1 or 2 for regular throws. So i can easily escape Dragunov / Jack 8 command throws. King is still a problem. Unbreakable throws, Unbreakable throws on punishment and damn near Unbreakable throws on counter. King has become a scrub character and completely ruined. Used to be respectable. Now he's non stop scrub mashing.
Man, it's crazy. I remember playing tekken throughout the years, i think its always been underrated.

T8 has been my first tekken since T3, and i think its one of the best fighting games ever. Im playing it way more than SF6 and MK1 (mkx is my favorite). Ive been playing leroy non stop, but im curious about Lidia. I know next to nothing about her, but she seems to have nice parries.
Yep Tekken 8 definitely holds its own as one of the GOAT Tekken games. And it will only get better with time. Mkx was soo good! I with they used the same formulary for MK1.
If you love Leroy then for sure you're gonna love some Lidia
Mk1 was my first mk I missed mkx era 🥲 (I hate mk1)
@GamerNemy if you ever get a chance, Leroys taunt parry seems to last a bit longer than the normal parry window - i know its not gumna work at hi level, but when someome is spamming fast +frame moves it can be an alternative to side step of just block

Other than that it would be cool I think to see interesting guest characters because it seems that season 1 dlc is largely going to be characters that are returning. Which I hope is not entirely like the leaks. I would hope for Bruce instead of Fuckyourmom...
I think this game could have amazing guests this time around hopefully they wont be too op like Akuma and Geese where. I would hope for Big Boss from MGS, Rock Howard from SNK, and Tifa Lockhart from FF7.

Thanks for the video. Bamco definitely deserves more credit for the passion that they did and continue to put into this game. And they've been nothing but transparent with the community the entire time. I think the developers were under pressure from execs to make the game more flashy. So they did. But they've been slowly patching all that bullshit out of the game and giving hardcore players what they know we really wanted. Ingenious.

Lidia will be released after Evo for sure. We don't want new character to suddenly come before huge event like that

They strategize who comes on launch date. Kuma & Panda weren’t popular characters in the previous Tekkens in comparison to the rest of the cast which is why they came on launch. They feel if they release some of the less popular characters on launch the more popular characters people are willing to pay the extra money for later on in the games life. Are people going to buy panda as a DLC or Lidia more? Gotta remember it’s a business not just based off of what fans want but I get what you’re saying.

I hate that argument about Lidia being in the launch cast. It doesn’t make any sense so did every player from T7 buy Lidia when she came out… :/
To justify getting her with T8 launch ??
At the end of the day, DLC comes to character taste. So not everyone bought her but she is a Shoto, pure Karate character that most fighting games have on their starter roster.
So she does feel like a launch roster character and she fits so well in the game too
@@GamerNemy that’s not the point thou. People are arguing that she’s the last DLC character in T7. And for some reason they want the character for free even though they got 32 from T8 launch which is more than enough to justify their purchase.
Also Lidia is apparently getting a rework for T8 it’s not like they’re bringing the exact same T7 Lidia..

idk what you are talking about there’s been a massive player drop off. they’ve yet to fix online or match making. no wifi filter. takes forever to get a match, cheaters everywhere, etc

@@GamerNemy Saying that after people paid 70 dollars, got a bunch of microtransactions pushed on them, and little to no content or communication is a bit disingenuous. 6-7 months of the game being out is even less of an excuse for the state its in. SF6 still blows this game out the water, and it's been out for a year. This game had a massive fall off in half that time.
