I probably spent half my life being told that the way I deliver words offends or triggers certain people. I try to be more aware with my friends. Glad you fought to stay and shoot even with the thoughts of people watching you.

This resonates with me because I’ve always been told about my delivery on things. I view things in a slightly different light at this point in my adulthood than I did before - so I try to be intentional in how I respond/ show up but I also remain aware because like you said sometimes it’s a bait … I don’t always have to be apologetic for things … especially with being yourself but just being aware.
I usually say this daily when doing devotional
Gracious God, help me to know the joy and strength of Christ's love, that I may become more and more like Him each day, and share His love with others. Amen.
