Something about you getting out of your car and going into work made me emotional. It reminded me of the times we drove to the hospital to get induced and outside everything seems so normal and peaceful and then once you're inside it's like you're transported into a different world and anything can happen, good or bad. I'm thankful for people like you that can handle such stressful duties ❤
I like that I found your videos. I am thinking of nursing school, but I am 28 and feel like I'm kind of too old to start...but I think I would love labor and delivery. But I like watching your videos and seeing snippets of the lifestyle and learning little facts.
0:48 this is SO smart for clips!!!! My daughter and I are gonna make so many
Thank you for all that you do!
Such a Awesome Day in the life of a Labour and Delivery Nurse Video! You are a Wonderful Nurse, Thank you so much for showing me your Beautiful Scrubs Outfit and your Amazing Space Buns Hairstyle Anna. 😃
Just discovered your channel and I found it intriguing. I love day to day life vlogs and as a former (retired) healthcare worker, I am interested in the life of a fellow healthcare worker. I plan to follow your channel.
I watched the whole thing! I loved it! So helpful for my future!
(I love your hair as always and I went to the eras tour in June! It was so amazing!!!)
It was cute. I loved the video!
Thank for the work you do 🙏🥹
Thanks for sharing your day. Hanging here on the day before my due date trying to get OP baby to turn.
Hiii! Love your vids and love what you do!
Hi!! I have been following your channel for a while and I love your shorts. It's great to see some long-form videos from you too!! I do have a question that has probably already been asked but here it goes: why do you work night shift? I am a new nurse and, similar to you, I also started in a specialty field. I feel like it is just common practice to start new nurses on good ol' night shift. Personally, I have a love/hate relationship with nights. On one hand, I adore the crew and the extra money isn't bad either. However, if you asked me if all of that was worth the constant sleepiness and the negative health impacts of working nights, then I would definitely say no. I know a lot of moms end up working nights while their little ones are in school and there are plenty of other reasons why people choose to work nights. I'm just curious from your perspective why you chose to work on the night shift. Thanks for making 10/10 content all the time. I love your hair btw!!
Now I have to find those butterflies for my daughters. Do you have a link?
You get breaks??🧐 Also, I had so much anxiety when you were still at home at 6am. I have to leave my house at 5:30 am. It’s a long drive to work, and we have a tall parking garage that we have to drive to the top floor, then through many elevators and long halls and other floors. Getting through the garage takes 10 minutes, and getting to my unit takes another 10. I’m exhausted thinking about it.
And is only 1 delivery typical? We have 3-5 per shift each. We can be pushing with a pt, another one laboring, one recovering, then get sent to the back for a stat c-section. You have to hope somebody was watching your other patients.
Do you usually get to sleep until school is over?
How did you go from just finishing a run to being completely showered and ready for work with hair curled and makeup done in only 35 minutes??????
Have you ever worked in any other units, or just L&D?
Do you have a specialty ice maker or is that just an ice bin that you're storing the ice from specialty molds in because that ice looks like it'd be super crunchy but also not too hard on the teeth. 😮
It’s an ice maker I got off of Amazon
