Review's little big planet 3 doesn't mention the user created levels at all. THATS THE ENTIRE POINT OF THE FUCKING GAME!
Also this score means nothing seeming that patching the issues = 8 then add in the user created levels that is a 9 so if they actually used there minds it would be 8 at launch then a 9 when issues are patched.
And no mention of the complex logic or inspiration to the youth or the fact you can develop games or program AI opponents etc... Overall they totally missed the point I agree.

Sorry, you didn't get you Last of Uncharted Call of Grand Theft Halo: Inquisition 5. Because what is a "real game" with out guns, sexual activity, blood & gore, crude language, flying cars, and etc. I'm sure Sumo Digital will take notes next time. They'll need it to compare to the other games.
As for Microsoft and PC owners, I wish you all could have tried the game yourselves. It remind me of a side scrolling Minecraft with a fantasy fiction theme. Endless combination of creations.
You're very right, I'm 14 and I love playing this game. It's so fun to hop in and play all the user created levels. I even play it with my little brother and we both have a blast. I do play the master chief collection but a good portion of my time also goes into this game. It's fun to play and really lets me express my creativity.
A game is that you have fun playing. I am 17 and i played knack and i liked it. I am excited for christmas to get little big planet 3.

It's honestly funny that the adults who have played this game love it, and kids who haven't played it think it looks stupid. I would argue that the "hardcore" violent and "mature" games that try ever so hard to be edgy and cool are considerably more childish than Little Big Planet.
I guess I speak for those who actually use logic. I am starting to believe that Gamespot is to sony biased. They game the Master Chief collection a 6 but gave LBP3 a 7. This truly makes no sense to me. I hope that they re review the MCC because that review was unfair and unacceptable.

You have to be good at creating levels to fully enjoy this game. It's something that takes time but gives satisfaction as well.
Or just go to other creations made by other ppl like lazy ppm and myself.
There are millions of levels already out there to enjoy! Just play those!

De Grunt King Project Sparks lacks personality. It's just a game engine. LBP is an actual game with it's own art style (which is quite rare for a user generated content game) and story. Also, the in depth possibilities are much better in LBP. Think of making your own music, creating whole A.I patterns, working engines and generally a lot more physicality.

This is the SECOND review in which it is stated that "voice acting has been introduced for the first time." Am I missing something? THERE WAS VOICE ACTING IN LBP 2
They are talking about in game voice acting. The second one only had those in cutscenes. I to didn't get it at first. :p

All these people saying this game is a failure and they expect more... a 7/10 is hardly a failure. It's just not as good as the first game. I personally won't be able to get this game until Christmas and the bugs will probably be fixed by then, so I'm not really worried.

Maybe because it pales in comparison to the 9+ reviews of the previous games, some would deem it at failure - when overall, 7.0 translates to "good"

Such an underrated game. In this game you can make anything you want, recreate 8bit games, make your character look like your beloved Master Shi..Chief and there was a guy who created a fully first person shooter. This game is for all and at the same time not for all... As an architecture student I see in this game many possiblities to create entire buildings, even a graphic designer would enjoy the level of complex designs that it has...
I'm not a kid but this franchise is what made me fall in love with PS3 ever since I randomly rented the first title, and the game is probaly the game I have ever spent time in, not including BF3, but its just an amazing title that you literally cant find an end to because of the endless amount of levels to play and create if you so choose.
That's what I try to tell people when they ask me why I love the series so much

she said that this is the first LBP with fully voiced NPCs! This is the second with fully voiced NPCs, they were in the second. That's why the second was so marvelous. They added in logic, sackbots, controllenators, level links, everything was so perfect! And it definitely still is perfect.

Why do gamers hate on gamers? I loved the first far cry and halo one, and i own a ps4. Good games are good games, you should hate the dev they sell us shit just to make money. If you dont like a game, youll probly go buy another one. Do you not get the scheme here? They make games to make money, and just mildly entertain.

Alright, so ive been playing all the lbp games, and i Love them.
BUT lbp3 has so many issues, crashes, bugs, glitches, and the most annoying of them all: profile corruption.
Your lbp3 profile gets automatically corrupter after a while and you loose everything you have worked for. Including the maps you were working on (unpublished maps) .. Sigh, i just wish MM was helping making the game, because sumo digital doesnt have much clue how to make a game stable :(

This game was pretty good. My only complaints are that I have this glitch where sometimes when I switch off of big toggle, and go to little toggle, I will be stuck in a state where I can only run around and jump. No popit, no grabbing, no nothing. Also the camera angles are sometimes a little off, sometimes causing the player to be running blindly into an obstacle.

I have LBP3 for PS3 and i finished the main story, and ive also completed all popit puzzles and tutorials on the game. However i cannot use all the creative features in create mode, like where is the powerup creator? where is the slide creator? i cant find them and i dont know how to unlock them. please can someone help?
Well I enjoyed little big planet 2 when I was 13 now am 17 and I feel like I grown out of this game for some reason , but I do recomend it as it looks just as awsome as the second one

I have played LBP2 for three years and never even published a full functioning level. Just fucking around with friends is what makes it so great. wanna play a pictionary type game, just make it quickly. Wanna make some music, you can do it. Some great vehicle? Can do!
People overlook the immense possibilities in this game. You're not just making levels, you can make songs, A.I. systems, functioning mechanicals, artistic creations and more.

A 7 is hardly a failure.
The real allure to this game is co-op and the level editor. Going through some amazing mini games and levels people make with some friends can be so much fun and is worth the price of the title alone. The game isn't new or innovative but that doesn't seem to stop people from liking Mario or cod. I would give it an 8 or an 8.5 because the potential fun in this game is crazy

MCC had bugs but it got 9's and 10's.. Hell phenomenal games like GTA IV have had tremendous bugs yet people seem to ignore them. Interesting..

Why are they complaining about glitches? The game just came out! They´ll probably fix them soon, or sometime later. Also, every game has glitches and most games have a lot of glitches when they come out, it´s normal. Not everything is perfect at the beginning...

i played 1 & 2 and was shocked how unfinished buggy and glitchy this is. game experience is sometimes ridicilously flawed. script events interrupting each others. horrible camera and weird spawn behaviour. skipping through objects or walking outside the maps in story mode have happened to me a couple of times. and i only played it two times now. the most ridicoulous thing happened was LAGS. this game lagged when playing local with 3 controllers causing us to sometimes die because sackboy teleported a few meters into his death.
Also people who say this game is for 5 year olds, the game is based on your imagination. If you think only guns and explosions is only what it takes,

Wait people think gamespot is biased to ps4 for a rating of 7??? Just because master Halo Master Chief didn't impress because it didn't do what all the old halo games did best, which is online multiplayer??? Get it straight LBP still does online multiplayer right and has always done it right that does not mean gamespot is biased at all and they didn't even give LBP a score of 8 so yes LBP could use some work but it gets the core mechanics right even with the bugs they can fix with updates

Even if this game is that bad, it could be better if it could support Crossplay (Using PS Vita for the Playstation) for LBP3 like it did in LBP2.

This LittleBigPlanet game is very similar to lbp 2. Its a little disappointing because we don't get to play the new characters that often, but I see it as a straight upgrade to the 2nd little big planet because of the new tools and DLC.
I also want to know if the bugs were fixed because I haven't played in a while...
Juan Lopez I don't have the title yet, but I've been hearing that the bugs are almost entirely ironed out. Getting my ps4 soon and this is one of the first games I'm picking up. Spent hundreds of hours playing 1 and 2. :D

I got the game and finished it last Friday. I agree with you but some glitches kinda stunk. On the last level where you fight Newton, little toggle was invisible. And my game crashed twice. I fell through the floor once in the level in manglewood swamp where there are multiple sackboys. Also, I imported my stuff from LBP 1 and 2 but the creatinator was missing. I wanted to make a portal gun with some velociporters and a creatinator. :( Otherwise, amazing game.

It's about expressing your ideas. People who did that got well paying jobs and get to do that for a living :3 look it up tons of lbp creators joined production.

Good review. Despite the games annoying glitches and the flaws it has, its my favorite LBP game so far. My favourite level has got to be when using the hook helmets to get up the vertical train. :)

I loved this game since i was 3 !
For the record I bought this game day one it came out and ran into none of these problems, except a bad spawn once, even so. I extremely enjoyed the game and Feel like if you go by this review you won't even understand what your getting. LBP3 is a sandbox style game. the story is there and important for the first day but honestly the real fun from the game comes from the huge selection of community created material with your friends. Not only that but as far as the bugs go the game underwent allot of patches lately and i'm sure most of this has been fixed. IF you really want to experience this game, you need to have an understanding of what it has to offer, as well as what you can do, the story is simply the beginning and not what the whole game should be judged on.

How do lads? i've been thinking on buying a LTBP game and so far i've narrowed to 2 or 3. I've seen reviews and lurked internet but it seems opinions are divided.
So far this is what i think i know: LBP2 has better and more main levels and are better designed, it has better art and music but community is dying out and creation tools while superior to 1 are not near 3.
LBP3 on the other hand doesn't have the level design of 2 but is still fun because of the new characters and tools. game design tools are far more complete than 2 but is full of bugs and has less multy player options.
What i am looking for is primarily to play local multy player with friends (old school i know), stand alone levels (so i figured the community levels would provide an infinite number of those) and to create and share my own levels and have fun without running on a lot of issues.
Have the bugs been fixed? Is the community more active on this one or 2? How about the local multy player? Any help would be appreciated.

You should wait until they patch LBP3. It'll get most of its bugs deleted soon so you should just get this.
I isn't as buggy as people are saying. LBP3 is allot better than 2 simply because 3 is built on 2 and also the bugs will be fixed so no real problem.

I am a huge fan of the series and complete every game plus beat every level without dying but when I aced the final level of lbp3 and got the Newton costume the game glitches out and now I can't play it anymore.

And then the only exclusives left are 2 driving games. A Crackdown game on Crack. And Halo.....Which Halos drive has been Mp since Halo 2....and the MP doesn't even work.

i have ps4 and love it but i agree the shit was hyped to the max. im also disapointed in the third party games as well as first party why are there so many bugs at launch nowadays, if you have to delay the game just do it its better than realising a broken game. ill probably still buy LBP but what im really exited for is MGS5 and the witcher 3. i just hope theyre not broken at launch as well.

This game is a solid 8 no question, and that's whiththe glitches. The number one question for any review is, is it fun? Apparently reviewers forgot that key principality in any review. In fact that question makes up 80% of a review. That alone is justice to the this game an 8. If I was your boss, and you gave me a half assed biased review like this, you'd be fired.
The 7 rating reflects everything but the online universe. And the real draw to this game has always been the online universe, which no other game matches. All you xbox fans are just desperately waiting to bash a sony product and in the process are making yourselves look completely ignorant. And there will be patches for the bug issues. So really then the 7 easily goes to a 9 at least. Halo this and halo that, that's all the xbox ever had and all xbox has done is recycle that franchise, yet again. And no I don't hate xbox, I hate ignorant xbox fans who come here looking to start meaningless arguments.
God, it hurts to say this but LBP 3 is garbage. It ruined my files three times. THREE TIMES it corrupted my saves. All of them almost at the end regardless. One in the middle of creating a level, and one just after beating it.
Maybe you need to contact PlayStation, I haven't gotten a corrupted file from it
