Well I'm trying to get started and I was concerned about getting a brush that wouldn't hold up through and past the learning curve. This is now what I'm looking to get, hopefully 20 years from now I won't regret it.
Just wanted to share my experience with the super lube included in every Iwata airbrush. Around a month ago I got myself an Iwata Eclipse Hp cs airbrush and I absolutely love it, it sprays wonderfully, however I noticed that at first the trigger was so stiff that I could hardly pull it all the way back, I watched reviews of the airbrush on yt to see if this was normal with the Eclipse but all the reviews I saw showed an Eclipse hp cs with smooth trigger so I thought my Eclipse had some manufacturing deffect and decided to claim the 5 year warranty and get a replacement. But right before I went to the Iwata website to find out how to claim a warranty I decided to use the superlube and applied it to the bottom of the trigger and the back of the metal cylinder that the spring was on, it worked! The trigger now feels smooth and I can now pull it all the way back with complete ease. In conclusion, that superlube that comes with Iwata airbrushes isn't in any way useless.
Annan, I am glad it worked out and the lube was the answer. I used to use it a lot. I would coat the needle and the shift of the trigger. Now I only use it if it's needed. Thanks for the comment and thanks for watching.
Hi Dan , the reservoir that you unscrew, well , you can actually screw on a bigger reservoir like the one the Neo has. You can buy different size cups as options
Got this brush a month or so ago ... loved the cup side switch feature as I switch between hands ... definitely smooth ... I use the same manifold setup ... I just disconnect air line and put in the holder backwards ..
Hey brother. I just watch this video here. I'm going to try to go through all or most u have.. looks like me u like simple and to keep it simple.. LIKE createx paint only.. looks like you sold on iwata and iwata cleaner and reducer. When I told u my research leed me to createx only. Well I failed to tell you. I was sold on the iwata too.. I bought a iwata revolution hp-cr. Fixing to order a revolution hp-cr3 . Not to cheap priced and not to high dollar. And I'm very sure as time goes on. I will own better iwata airbrush. But I'm convinced these two will serve me very well.. thanks again for sharing your knowledge..
Jeff, yes iwata abd createx are my favorite. I am aventually going to get a Paashe. Just because that was the first airbrush I had. I think they are very reasonably priced and the only brush that I know of that is made in America. And this is only due to my new addiction to buying airbrushes. Lol. Thanks for watching my videos. Lol.. brother I been using paasche since 1985. . Lacquer paints.. so see all this . Water base. Different airbrushs. New experience. I been researching for few months here. I guess you can teach a old dog New tricks.. sorry to bother you so much. But that's fir responding.
Thanks for another great review. I have an Iwata Eclipse HP-CS, and I want to know if the needle and tips are interchangeable with the brush you reviewed. You have both brushes, could you please let me know. Thanks, Lou
Louis, neither the need or nozzle is not interchangeable. The Eclipes has a .35 needle and has a nozzle that is fitted on a brass compression fitting that creates the seal to the airbrush. Totaly different set up. It's actually my favorite set up. I don't know of any other brushes that use that set up except the eclipses. All the other iwata and most other brands use the tiny nozzle that screws right onto the brush. Hope this helps and thanks for witching.

Interesting. Not once did you mention what paint you put in it. How much you diluted it and what you diluted it with or what air pressure you had it set to. This makes the video much less useful since we cant compare what we may be experiencing against the result you produced.

you can use the H&S infinity micro cup with it ,they use the same screws on their cups.

I hate that 90 degree elbow in the cup...its a pain to clean...I like my old eclipse better
