- United 787 Captain Otto Nuila was able to live the dream of a lifetime by being able to fly side-by-side with his son, United 787 First Officer Christof Nuila on a flight from San Francisco to Osaka.

My Son is a Pilot for Delta and last summer I was coming back from Barcelona to SLC. Stopped at JFK and my Son was my Pilot! Didn’t even know he was doing that leg. I was so proud! It was fun to see my home airport in your video. Fly safe!

You must be so proud. What an accomplishment..people don't realize the work and sacrifice that's goes to becoming a major airlines pilot. And only the smart kids get to fly..I flew single engine high performace ...that was enough for my brain😂

So glad for you to get a chance to be in the cockpit with your Dad as I did before my retirement. It is the best gift a son can ever gift to the father who is an aviator. What a special flight. Father and son. Captain and First Officer. My favourite is the retro pic of Dad holding son in front of the Piper holding a small blanket at the end.... I didn't expect that and well honestly I got choked up at that point. Very nice to ask Mom along for the special flight. Thanks for sharing. Great to see that special bond.
