another campsite / animal park to look at time permitting is at Longleat safari park the camp site again backs onto the park and all night you can hear the animals. Having spent a time at Africa alive camp site with our grandchildren it was good to see Banhams and is certainly worth a trip up from Felixstowe. Good luck with the van remodel

Try Kessingland on the Norfolk/Suffolk border. There’s a campsite next to that and you can hear the animals at night sometimes

Spent many years at Apple wood, Sadly its lost it appeal due to all the ridiculous rules and changes. Its catered more towards the elderly permanent pitchers now. Its lost its family feel. Such a shame.
