    The man had the look, theme song, promo skill and solid wrestling skills. Its dosgusting that they didnt even give him the Intercontinental Championship.
    Im happy the man moved on with his life but it sucks to see how he aged and lost out on becoming such a massive star. The world can be such an unfair place where peoples potential can be wasted for nothing.. hassan looked like a world champion and should have been pushed to be one, screw the networks

This is why historically baby faces would give heels some of their merchandise money. Dude killed it and got let go because the writing team made him attempt beheading the Undertaker right after the London train bombings. Mind you the episode was pre recorded, so they recorded it before that happened, but then aired it anyways. People were wondering if they would play it on TV and they did despite it being in bad taste. They were a special kind of stupid for the whole incident and it was the type of carny bullshit that makes it such a hard business to stick with.

      WWE has a history of being pretty fast and loose with who played which gimmicks. They had Scott Hall be a rich hot headed Cuban and had Nidia be trailer trash with Jamie Noble lol

    I want to finally find out the TRUTH behind Muhammad Hassan's DEPARTURE. Jim Ross said they wanted to PUSH HIM to the MAIN EVENT but Hassan became "AFRAID" of the backlash and "QUIT" as a result. I have never heard Hassan's side.

    Hassan WOULD have (not could have) paved the way for others (non-cookie cutter wrestlers).
    I had 3 WWE tryouts as a Chinese wrestler prior to 2010. His push would have been a God send and would have ushered in a 2nd age of Attitude Era instead of the PG era.
    I was presented as Chinese but am also Japanese/Hawaiian and wrestled Yuji Nagata when I was 23.
    Least Jey Uso still uses the neckbreaker I made in 1998. CZcams Best Neckbreaker in Wrestling History.

    I hate how the WWE fired him. He was gold. Definitely 1 of the biggest "what ifs". He was only there for 7 months just about and made more of an impact on the business than guys who were there for several years. Look at Bob Holly. He was there for 15 years and the man has never done a memorable thing. Hasan became 1 of the most memorable characters while working for the company for a little over 6 months.
