Is it indian channel
Please make a video of about simple one
pls sir make video on how tesla's super chargers work🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏
There was nothing wrong with the technology
CEO was an IT guy, he gave impossible targets and deadlines to his employee based on his IT experience.
In automobile industry you will have to be patient, wait until you achieve perfection.
They badly need a good CTO with mechanical or electrical background.
True. If your software is bad, it will simply crash. If your heavy machinery is bad, it can even kill you
Lol him being an IT guy its not like he did a very good job with the software either 😂😂😂😂
True! They are a software company... doing things for real (mechanical manufacturing, electricals, infrastructure) isn't as easy as debugging a code. The lack of that understanding in that philosophy is evident in their product
As an IT guy totally agree with you
U will find most of the indian tech entrepreneurs falls under this category, i.e. mere a software engineers(that's too with questionable skills and knowledge) and None of them are looking beyond the money.
I love how he explained both Pros but also the Cons. 10/10 for Detailing and Animations 👍
This channel is really wonderful
This channel literally makes physics interesting
Paid promotion too
Physics is interesting
@@thedif6270 no
It's more of Engineering...
@@LovinBabu and how do you get engineering? without physics?! 😂
5:32 The best way to overcome the heating issue is by providing a proper cooling system. Not the cut off.
Probably they're cutting the cost to be more available to the masses, but it would be great if that issue will be addressed without putting too much weight on the cost.
No ,there is some issue with the controller, bms etc due to reverse mode feature its somehow getting short circuit
Inducting a cooling system would increase the cost and cooling systems has their own drawbacks.
@@krushna4181 What kind of drawbacks, Mr. genius? Ather has been making great products - they took 5 years to perfect their tech and have been 4 years in the Indian market. All cars - from Tigor EV ( currently the cheapest EV in India ) to Rimac Nevera use liquid cooling. Just one disadvantage - increased cost. So say straightly that they're cutting costs from the scooter rather than defending them. If you say it's an Indian brand, then I'd like to tell you that Ather is also an Indian brand. I'd support Indian brands, until they make quality products.
Where would you put the radiator?
Wow, I had never heard of this channel. This is world class production and content, coming from India, from an IIT Delhi founder. 🙏
Lesics engineering videos used to be non-product based generic breakdowns of the actual engineering that goes into our technology. The constant branding and shift from the previous content is incredibly displeasing.
I miss those days🥲
I'm not an engineer or anything, but batteries usually gets on fire due to bad BMS. So unless the BMS fails to do what it's supposed to, batteries should be safe. Also real life testing is different then lab testing. India's temperatures easily reaches up to 50 degrees (in Celsius). Maybe the battery chemistry was not good for such harsh environment. Still If the batteries were overheating, the BMS should've done it's job of cutting the supply.
And yes a cooling system would be a nice addition without adding too much to the cost. Even IC engines has proper heatsink for the cylinder part. They can somehow make a heatsink for the batteries so that they're air cooled rather than sealed in pack.
It's because of people drive in extreme heat which heats up the Lithium-ion batteries to much, also park in sun that's why batteries caught fire, Same can happen with smartphone batteries.
Not just india, and not due to Heat persay.
These Scooters have to be sold to Asia as well, and in asia, you have to worry about humidity more than heat.
One of the worse enemies of Lithium Ion Batteries is Humidity, and can result in Corrosion that either shortens the battery lifespan, or increase the risk of catching on fire.
That's why Most Electric Cars don't really _last_ that long in Asia. The climate there is the Bane of every electric based vehicle.
Yeah a cooling system would be nice.
@@sunnysurwade464 ok please come and assist me where to park my vehicle or come with me where I go and setup shud for my vehicle where shud is not there
@@nithinniki7427 You need to take care of that in Indian summers, for other season it will stay cooler, Electric vehicles are new for people but over time this problems will be solved...
I was confused by this vid. At first I thought it was sponsored, and it might be. But I love how well you detailed the pros and cons. Great vid!
If only we were all taught in college the way Lesics teaches us today. Such high quality content!
It is still not late . There are many You tube channels who have interesting stuff. And with Augmented Reality it becomes more interesting than ever .
Well this channel has explained everything regards to the Ola scooter.. The only issue I am facing is the front suspension rattles a lot on concrete roads. I am not sure is it the wrong air pressure which the company has recommended or is it the front suspension which is very fragile.
Also one needs to know how to ride this scooter and take care while riding at the same. Using Hiper mode continuously is not advisable, one u have touch 70km, change it to Normal mode and the scooter will perform well and you will get a better average.
This is most detailed and up-to-date video of a ev vehicle i have ever seen, very good animations
Your animation and describing anything is just amazing...I just love that... Thangs for giving us such knowledge full videos🙏🙏🙏

Nice timing during reports of EV vehicles fire in India.
Is it a report or reports of fire in EV. The ICE scooters and bikes are also catching fire and all have overheating issues . Who talks about them
@@MrKhabbu true, ev haters are ignorant
Commercial ads guised as a review/opinion are the worst.
Always have loved this channel for meal time engineering videos, hope to keep that up.
how is this an ad? they talk shit about the scooter for most of the video
@@Imthefake A. There are better electric scooter technologies developed, and you won't have to go very far from India to realise that.
B. Picking up a brand, which in itself is unusual for the channel if you've been around, let alone with a poor R&D when a local competitor has 8 years of R&D exclusively in the product.
C. If you think he's talking shit about the vehicle, you have no idea how worse the product is at current moment. It's so bad the brand asked to criticize it a little to gain credibility.
What was the last product that was so shit people tied it behind a donkey and paraded? Latest I can think of was Cercei's walk of shame, but that was around like 500BC lol.
I don't think this is sponsored because he mentioned it has many flaws. He picked the interesting engineering of the scooter like the horizontal springs which I liked.
He has also done a video on Tesla. And Tesla is also a brand like Ola is it not ? So what is the difference ?
Lets have a discussion. Open to your arguments
@@SF-li9kh in my opinion the tesla videos are biased as well. Nicola Tesla is constantly referred as an engineering megamind whose inventions are superior in every way. Yet still the "revolutionary" electric motors (one is seen even in this video) haven't replaced normal electric motors. Lesics should clearly say why exactly such motors appear in low quantites - at least for now.
@@manushreshtha9162 all electric scooters are somewhat different, if they want to do a showcase they have to pick one model, as they did with the tesla video
There should be at least some venting on the batteries and motors. Electric powertrain might not be as hot as Internal Combustion ones, but they do still generate quite some heat.
Ola ceo is the only reason because it's failing. If he would have worked on building a better plan for scooter production , quality control, maintenance and services than to make false claims on social media, the story would have been different.
He sits in an ivory tower giving orders. How will he know what at the problems are the ground level?
He is so inspired by Elon Musk, it’s pathetic.
Do you have better blue print for the company . If yes bring it to the company and you can be the new CEO
That's a very fascinating technology. It reminds me of Gogoro. One main difference from Ola is its batteries can be removed and swapped for new ones from the charging station.
Idk how u read mind yesterday I just saw this saw this vehicles and wanted to inside of it..and its engineering ..
And here it is... thanks for it...
Summer temperatures in many countries in Europe reach well over 30 °C, where I live they go from 30 to 40 °C (86 to 104 °F). I think the temperature excuse is a little bit of a stretch.
Heat (and eventually fire) is a big issue in electric vehicles, especially because fires from batteries are very hard to extinguish
Proud to know that this is an Indian channel!
I thought this would be a paid video by ola. But you have told the real truth and also mentioned the issues with the scooter. Thank you

Hi, German fellow here - and i just want to point out that Europe has relatively hot summers as well. We hit 30°C just yesterday... And it will probably be warmer next week.
Yeah, don't know where they got that 17° summer temperature from.
I thought it will just be a video with technical info and tech used. But it also says the drawbacks. Its was like a review. But excellent 👍🏻. Hope I see more such content in future.
Today i explained about tesla model s car in my college with the animation video helped me a lot in understanding the concept of tesla model s , thanks to your team
The video should go viral among the Indian engineers..💯
That's true mawa 😂
1 minute into the video and ouch, I got hit with 'reluctance torque'. I just had to look it up. Reluctance is magnetic circuit resistance, so a low reluctance motor is good, having bags of circulating magnetic flux. I learnt something new, good video thanks!
This channel now combining virtual reality with 3d modelling and animations. Which requires great efforts.
Fire problem is very common with petrol vehicles but because it’s common no media covers it, Ola’s only 1 scooter caught fire out of 50k, (some are saying that was due to the owner making some changes in it’s bms) last month a royal enfield exploded in AP but no media covered it so no investigation was done. As we know lithium cells have discharge temps from -20 to 60c, so that fire was definitely not due to hot weather but short cct.
Can u explain the front and rear suspensions of ola s1 with indepth details from meterial selection to impact on dynamics
Cuting edge technology 👍Technical features are really interesting. Two wheeler's market is in high demand due to burst of evolutionary expansion in technology.👌✌🇮🇳
I love all the contents of lesics...Please make video related to Marine Engineering🧡
Kasam se I was always thinking ki koi foreigner ka channel hoga but proud to say Indian bhai
Wow 🤩 Thanks for the valuable info.
Very interesting, thanks! 👏🏼
This video is answer to all the ola design haters!
All kudos to team Eatergo for the great design.
Ola did worst job modifying the BMS, non removable battery pack and it's software firmware.
5:49, OLA should RE-DESIGN the body of this scooter and include aerodynamics concept around the BATTERY and MOTOR which overheats. So that, fast speed = fast wind intake = MOTOR and BATTERY feels HAPPY.
Oo genius key aulad, itna asaan hota toh woh kar chukey hotey
Does it have air channels beneath to cool down the motor and batteries?
Does it have inbuilt fire extinguisher?
i like the way of your explanation and Animation...Great 👍..
Make more videos on ola regeneration break system and S1 pro user and just loved it
Most awaited video 👍
A correction
Ather 450 used bldc
Ather 450x used pmsm motor
Both had motors from mahle company
@sonu singh , Its a German company. Bur the motors are manufactured in India at Coimbatore.
Thanks for detailed video 👍👍
Please make video on additive manufacturing technology
I the owner of OLA S1 Pro am much satisfied by the product. At this price one cannot get any other scooter even bike in market.
Special Remarks on suspension. The suspension is as good as car suspension. Really liked it.
Only issue is service.
can u compare motors ipm vs dron brusless motors(50 kg payload weight)?
this is exactly what i was looking for.. thanks for making this
why?
thanks for making video on indian company GREAT ANIMATION
LOVE FROM INDIA 💖
bhai channel indian h yaar, kitno ko btaau yeh baat
I love those scenes when the indian lesics guy starts speaking and I hear just inaudible gibberish
Excellent video
Please explain TVS iqube ST......
And compare technical difference between different e scooter.....🙏
The screenshot was the ola's signature explosion mode. You better be ready for the blast🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
🤣🤣🤣 so true bro
Very nice video, thanks
as far as I know you only get 90% of power when using belts and 96% when using chains, drive shaft 70%-80% . Do they have chain version?
Good video. Can anyone tell please what is the effect of reluctance on torque?
Thanks.
Proud owner of one of these beasts of scooters 🛵
🤣🤣😂😂
Nice coverage details I personally had booked but I have cancelled it due to there's wrong commitment of management
They should make a cooperation with tata electric, tata motors ensembles batteries with liquid cooling system to avoid extra heating.
A much needed video
through which platform did you create this like of animations
Very well explained👍
superb explanation....
Yes.. ola has awesome technology, I saw a guy blown by ola.🤓
Investigation is onn!
Haha. Nice reach out by OLA to save their burning Image. Well explained team Lesics.
Great video.

yes , i liked this vid' very much. its a 1'st for me to see a pro & con
presentation for a vehicle. i'll be coming back for updates.
one thing to ask for is based on living in colorado where so many roads
are uphill. could you provide some info on the battery elevation gain data.
for instance the elev where i live is 5300'. and my wish is to ride
the Ola north 25 miles to Cripple Creek. situated at 9500'.
the road is paved 1/2 the way, then becomes an
all-weather maintained dirt county road.
how far can i expect to get on a full charge ?
We gather on this day to be thankful for what we have, for the family we love, the friends we cherish, and for the blessings that will come. Happy eid Mubarak day to you, and your family and viewers
That looks cool, I want that scooter
i learn a lot in this channel
this is some next level engineering
I use Ather 450 X everyday and i love it but i hate its 80-90 KM range
Sir, Please if possible can you make on simple energy scooter
Very Nice Bro! Get Good People!
Awesome video
Very good Sir, which software is used to make such type of animation please .
Perhaps ola should think of water/oil cooling for its batteries and motor.
Should have thrown some light on front suspension also.
Very informative video
so people would know why it is catching fire🔥🔥🔥
Very nice!
Okay, The automatic fire mechanism feature not explained🤔 Why?
Why didn't Ola use active cooling mechanisms for its battery pack and motor? Would have prevented the overheating issues. I guess more customers would have been okay with the price increase to get a safer product.
what about, if software corrupts or gets affected by any technical issue on the way !!! what would be the customer support policy?
Great vedio
In India, we need liquid cooling for batteries. And stop charging at 80%
Peltier cooling
they show have tested before lauching
@@yaminsiddiqui4690 aren't they extremely inefficient
@@Taju201they are.
Should have added the exploded scenario in recent times as well
Great buy for diwali 💥💥💥🔥🔥🔥
Please can you make a video on vortex coolers
The main reason of battery heating is poor quality material , compactness and poor heat dissipation system which eventually leads to such conditions , there should be proper ventilation for cooling to the motor and battery.
All the models should be tested in different roads and climatic conditions, you can't just copy and paste and sell it in the market just in this case .
the batery and the motro is not in a ventilated place at least it should have an air flow
@@elarcadenoah9000 yes there should be proper ventilation .
Nice information video
Can you make a video what is the role of controller bms and motor in electric vehicle with an animation
Can you please make a video on Bajaj chetak and ola mechanical difference?
You deserve every sub you have
Ola has senseless esc (electric speed controller) so that higher amp consume
Battery has c rating
Lithium ion cell not perfect to senseless controller
Lithium polymer Battery has more c rating
So that burning 🔥 ola scooter
It think you could fix the turning discomfort problem by making the handles into a steeper Y shape or making some sort of mechanism to cause them to lift up as the turning radius reduces, both of these solutions would prevent the handle from colliding with the knee.
Your first suggestion is practical cost effective and viable
very informative
This scooter designed for cold weather and smooth roades in cold weather country and not for indian weather and Indian roads they need to improve it according to india ,
