"Blackface" should really only be a problem when it is used to depict something bad, something evil, a stereotype, etc. Zwarte Piet comes straight into mind as an example, because it's a caricature of black people.
There really isn't a problem (never was, never would) when someone is impersonating popular and successful artists of color with the idea of promoting and celebrating their talents and uniqueness. As a black person, I really don't mind people of other races impersonating Beyonce, for example, skin color and all, to showcase her musical and artistical talent and even her beauty, if you will. She is a role model, after all. Doing a Beyonce impersonation without a full-body/face make-up is what would be disturbing, because then you are essentially stripping away her identity. After all, she is who she is partly because of her roots and that matters. This is what really worries me - that we all morph into race-neutral, gender-neutral, politically correct entities, instead of true, genuine human beings who embrace and celebrate their differences, including the color of our skin.
Such narrow-minded, all-encompassing reverse racism ("Blackface is forbidden in all cases, period") should be cancelled once and for all, otherwise we risk repeating the very same mistakes we are trying to correct.

As a Bulgarian, Mihaela is innocent. You should not blame her for this. Blame the show, not her. Please.

Dear Zeey, I guess you are not familiar with the concept of the show. That's the Bulgarian version of Your face sounds familiar. The whole point of the show is impersonating famous artists and that includes full make up, to make the contestants look exactly (as much as posiible) like the artist they're supposed to impersonate (btw, in a previous season a black contestant was "white faced" multiple times). It's not just another singing reality like The Voice or The X- Factor. If that were the case, of course it would be problematic!

This is LITERAL blackface and is extremely problematic.
